my HDD seagate sataII 500GB 7200.12 has just gone mad .
when i was using XP my system getting slower n slower it takes a while i.e 20-30 mins to show welcome screen after that it works fine.
After i upgraded from xp to win7 first (after a blue screen)it shows MBR error which i ignored and then after a few days i found no bootable media detected on system startup and then system hangs .in bios it shows my both HDD like before .but now , sometimes its not even detected in bios
when i remove this HDD system runs fine n stable with my old sata 7200.9 and i dont find any error/warning in win7 event viewer . but as soon as i attach this drive my system remain in startup with NO Bootable media found.i have already tested it on all four available sata ports n changed data/power cables but no use.!!!!!!
IN event viewer it shows undermention errors.
ERROR:An error was detected on device\Device\Harddisk1\DR2 during a paging operation. event ID 51 Source: disk
Error:the device,\Device\Harddisk1\DR1,is not ready for access yet.source:disk event id:15
Warning:The system failed to flush data to the transaction log.corruption may occur.event ID 57 source:Ntfs
error:The driver detected a controller error on \device\ide\idePort1. Source :atapi event ID:11
Note:i have already run seatool 's all test and HD tune on other pc (running XP)but it didn't find any badsector or anything.though the HDD was working on that pc but still shows above mention errors.
