As an example, BF3 is the only game that I play since its release. I have yet to play FC3, ME3 and DS3.
BF3 is very much alive with people looking forward to End Game dLC. Weapon diversity, Dogfights, Tanks and Competitive Gameplay fuels the enthusiasm which will continue till BF4 next year.

Battlefield 3 has done an amazing job at keeping it self alive and kicking.

but Because DICE/EA kept the comments in check and updated/edited/changed the game according to peoples needs and wants and the suggestions give by players have been implemented in the game.
