It's not necessary to start with an acoustic guitar. In fact, electric guitars are easier and more forgiving.

Can't help you about which guitar to get and from where. I have no experience buying an electric guitar.

Agree with the fact that its easier to play on electric guitar. Thats why it isnt recommended to learn on it as you wont be able to handle the acquistic one later (atleast it would be difficult)

secondly, just saw an add in Others section on PG selling an electric guitar.

Practising on an electric guitar first won't make playing the acoustic guitar any more difficult than it already is. If anything, prior experience with any kind of guitar should make the acoustic slightly easier than directly starting practice on it first. However, beginning your guitar practise on an acoustic first certainly makes the electric guitar easier.

It depends what the learner is aiming for. If you are not interested in acoustic guitars, there's no need to start on it in the hopes that it will help you learn electric guitar better. You should directly go with electric guitars then.

Beatles has 'em. Prepare your wallet, though.
they cost around 20-30k which would be a normal price if you get an electric
get the cheapest one the only reason recommend getting a bc rich or a famous company is because the sound quality is amazing on them plus they will prob last you your entire life i.e you wont need to invest in a md range guitar after several years . ill post my babies soon in this thread

Thanks a lot for all the replies. So I'd have to dish out 20-30k at least for my first electric guitar. The cheapest BC Rich goes for around 30k alone.. Feel like it's too much for me right now. And accoustic is a no go. I'm damn sure I won't be able to play an accoustic(Don't wanna sing Azadi songs).

Anyway, thanks again.

ill post my babies soon in this thread
Would love to see em.

I have used D'addario and alice. Elixir is known for breaking on G but its happening on mine as well. I guess I will try to mess a little as possible with current tunings until i find good saddle and nut

yes probably worn nut or tuning post. I will try grinding them to smooth the edges
guitar is 3 year old. neck is fine and there's no bend or anything.

huh thats funny my G strings also snapped when I was tunning it and that happened two times , I was using D'Addario 9 gauge ultra light string and I found the reason, it was due to the fact that my G string tunner nut was really lose , I thightened it with a screw driver and I havent broken a string yet , its best to check other tuner nuts for looseness and tighten them

internet is full with g string breaking but thats normally with elixir strings.
Ps tuners are tight to proper torque as I recently lubed and clean them and installed.

did you try setting up Google Payments? For UBL you may have to get it enabled for internet transactions, Naya should work without it!

Did y'all see the new Assassin's Creed trailer? They finally made a AC set in Japan & then they put a negro as the male protagonist. Ubisoft is taking cues from Disney, and it isn't gonna end well for them, just like Disney. Go woke, go broke!
