Hello everyone. The name's OldMan and I'm an average graphics designer and a hardcore anime and manga fan. I've been learning Ruby for a while and hope to learn C# after Ruby, but I've put off the programming stuff until my exams are over. I own a PC, a PS2 and a PSP. I love RPGs, Hack 'n Slash games and first-person shooters. I aim to become a novelist after I'm done with my matriculation. Am a huge fan of Sir Arthur Conan Doyles and love Sherlock Holmes.

I had been looking for a decent forums to join for a while now, and finally found PakGamers. PG looks pretty neat and I love the fact that it's joined by many Pakistani gamers. I look forward to being acquainted with everyone :)

Ohh, so you are going to give school Mocks this year, then O Lvl for next 2 years, and for the further next 2 years you will give AS and A2 papers. :) So lets say that I am in 13th grade AKA final year of school/college.

I play almost 6 to 8 hours a day consistently, even though I haven't played many games for a few weeks now due to studies.

What kind of gaming do you like? PC or console gaming? And what genres, FPS, RTS, RPG, Platformers etc? :D

Ah, I see. Exams really shorten your gaming hours, but what comes after exams is late-night gaming. So all's well, ay'? Though, 6-8 hours... that's a lot man o.o I prefer console gaming and I into RPGs mostly. RTS and Puzzles come second, hack 'n slash and first-person shooters third. I don't like the fact that there aren't many RPGs that have their story evolve slowly and that teach the player about the world slowly. The one's I'm playing right now just dump facts over your head =/ But oh well, grinding ho~ Oh, and I'm also into MMOs. Used to play Counter-Strike and Project Blackout. I now play Lucent Heart and Fiesta Online (just started). What about you mate? What genres do you prefer? :)

Exactly man. Gaming from 3 AM to 7 AM still persists, especially after completing a few chapters of studies and feeling good about it :D

I am a PC gamer through and through.

I like RPG, FPS, Hack&Slash, RTS games alot. And recently starting playing Multiplayer F2P games like Blacklight Retribution and the like.
I also love sports games like PES10/12, Virtua Tennis 3, and Wii Tennis (on my cousin's Wii when I visit his house).

There is not only gaming here, but other things too like Manga/Anime section, Movies section, Sports section, Fun Room, PC/PS3/X360/Wii/Handheld gaming sections, Mobile phone section (for Android/iOS gaming and applications), and finally there is the Market Place which is one of this site's main attractions.

for some odd reason I never play MMORPG's for more than 3 to 4 days. =|

It's the same with my mother as well. She doesn't like it when I stay up after midnight. My favorite RPG is.... umm... that's like asking me to find a pin in a haystack honestly. Wild Arms 4 was going good for me... but then I rage-quit :x Couldn't beat that darn boss... And yeah, MMORPGs feel like they've got nothing new, except for Counter-Strike. For some odd reason, it was fun everytime I played it. Must be because I loved the knife stabbing... What 'bout you? Got any fave game?

Yup this site rocks. I've been here for around 3 years, and I am showing no signs of getting bored from here.

And yeah my PC is indeed a gaming PC (check specs under my avatar). :)

+ There is the shoutbox on the main page which is always filled with funny and bizarre members lol.

Wild Arms 4, I was thinking of playing that. Have you played Persona and the SMT games? and also have you played any of the games of "Tales of" series?

CS isn't an MMORPG?!.... I... uhh... totally knew it! Yup :)
I've tried Persona 2, Persona 3 Portable and Persona 3 FES. Also tried Devil Survivor and Devil Summoner. Never finished any of 'em though... OTL
I had been playing Tales of Abyss and LOVED IT! Near the end :) And my favorite anime's Katekyoushi Hitman Reborn and Rurouni Kenshin. Bakemonogatari and Guilty Crown's good too.
