I am using a GIgabyte 7750 and i have noticed that the GPU produces some sounds like fan is slightly striking with something....and this only happens when I am running Battlefield 3. the sounds disappear as soon as the game loading is complete and are never heard again. But I heard these strange sounds everytime I load a level in Battlefield 3. Is this stuff normal with this GPU?

I am using Corsair CX 400W PSU. The GPU i bought is brand new and I have checked its fan alot of times and also spun its fan using my finger to check if its being blocked by something but it seems ok. But then again When I connect it back and start Battlefield 3, again some sounds, not very loud but definetly detectable, start. The sounds disappear as soon as loading is stopped. The GPU temp is also good. What should I do? Is this anything serious? Performance is also not being affected...

Take it out and check it. No use writing stories here.

If the fans (blades) are not properly aligned, they will vibrate when the speed starts increasing. Before you damage something else, take it out.

I have checked it alot of times and nothing seems to be blocking it's motion....i have checked this by removing it and spinning it using finger...

I guess it is running hot when the game is loading do you have proper ventilation try placing a fan infront of the ac before even starting the computer or in a ac room

place which fan in front of the ac? By ac do u mean the room air conditioner or ac is something inside the computer?

you sure it is the fan and not something else? sounds too specific to be the GPU fan.
yes, it's the gpu fan. because first I heard this sound too much and I noticed there was a wire which was connected underneath the fan and it was out of it's socket kind of place. I placed it back there and then the sounds reduced alot but still i heard these sounds and there is nothing blocking now....

If there is no 'krr krr', and only sound of the fan spinning, then let it be. That's how it is.

When the load increases, the temperatures increase and the fan rotates faster to cool GPU down.

THanks friends for all your help!! I figured out the solution!. the problem was as simple and fazool as it can be.... it turned out that whenever the black plastic sort of cover over the fan vibrated or moved a bit sounds like that were produced, it had nothing to do with the fan! here is the cover i am pointing my finger towards it....

and I noticed that the two red wires that are used to connect cd drive and hard disk to mobo and to each other were constantly in contact with the black cover of GPU. Now the real thing was that when Battlefield 3 started to load, those hard drive wires began to vibrate with intervals, as the cover was in contact with them so it also vibrated and produced those sounds. and those vibrations and sounds disappeared when the level was loaded...... so I taped the wires on one side to keep them away from touching my GPU!!!!

Images are not good quality but i wanted to explain so i guess u guys now understand what really was the problem....
