Good latency and Framerate?

What's the range of the latency that falls under definition of 'Good' or 'Satisfactory' in WOW? and how much must be the framerate.

I am getting a different latency on some of the US and Ocieanic realms that I tested.

i get around 450-700 ping (550-600 average) on the US realm Black Dragonflight. FPS = 60.

250-300 ms is perfect. these days people can get away with raiding on 400ms as well, specially as a caster. the game is really easy and more forgiving now. back in the day tanking used to be a nightmare on pakistani latency because lag could mean a delay in agro resulting in dead raid members/wiping or even having a hard time keeping up with threat. even as a caster i had to resort to a latency casting bar mod to time my casts in order to churn out competitive dps. they have implemented new input/button spamming mechanics so all that is a thing of the past.


30+ fps is pretty acceptable in raids atleast, even on messier boss fights. anything below is risky, as you might find yourself stuck in the fire when the fame rate drops due to aoe etc.

and anything above that i just satisfactory..
and anything below 70~ is like gr8...!!!

yea its pretty useless, and pretty much same shit at 400 ms as well. frustating when you cant capatalize on stuns as melee or land any hits without predicting where the player is running. used to be a nightmare as an arms warrior with a big slow 2 hander trying to land mortal/heroic strike after a charge or even worse when using intercept, then stance change and mortal strike. GRRRRR!

lol thats so true. I had really hard time with my rogue in arenas :ninja:

PVP can be tricky at higher latency.
