I did not know where to post this so please bare with me.
i am facing an issue, since gears of war 4 came out i have been playing the game on ping higher than 160 i.e.. 205-215 which is rather acceptable from what i am getting now.
IT went just fine and constant until now when PTCL did some maintenance (apparently) and my internet was dead for two days and when it got back up, everything else was normal and i was getting the download speed etc which i am supposed to get on my 8mb package. The only thing which messed up is the ping to the GOW4 servers. I play on EU servers which are the closest and i used to get a 20015ms max but now it rasied to 300+ which is rather unplayable now.
I tried all the fixes here and there, the only thing which worked for a while was changing my DSL modulation from the router which i changed to "G.Dmt Enabled" . It didnt worked perfectly but it reduced the ping by 40ms but now the ping is high again and this method isnt working anymore.
Does anyone have a solution for this? Please share.
This is the speed test result. The speed it is showing is rather slow but it was the same before and the ping didnt go higher than 215ms.
