I have turned off the adaptive triggers in both RE Village and Ghost of Tsushima as it would slow down the rate of aim and shooting in a tense combat situation but overall haptics are top notch.

I completely agree about RE Village. Turned it off in Deathloop as well. Devs need to be smart about how they use adaptive triggers in shooters. So far, only two shooters have got it right i.e. Returnal and Call of Duty Vanguard. In both, instead of the triggers being resistant, they make it quicker to go into and out of ADS.

Looks like SX Quality mode is maxxed PC equivalent, outside of MSAA maybe.

Game's gotta be running at 40-45fps internally in Quality mode on the Series X. A pity ctron's wish didn't come true

I don't know about ctron's wish, but CTRON's wish definitely didn't come true

Uncle Richard has sold me on the Series X Quality mode. 30 FPS, yes but its unwavering, with good controller response and "next level stuff" kind of visual improvement over every other version.

I want to bathe in this games visual splendor.

Fortunately my PC handle the visual splendor at high frame rates. Very tempted to dex it and start playing right now

But kudos to Playground Games. FH5 is another great example of scalability. Hopefully this shuts up some naysayers on this forum about cross-gen games.

There's nothing here to shut up anyone who correctly says that cross-gen holds games back. The art is the real standout here. As always, scalability has its limits

Playground Games made the game they wanted to make and made the best of high end as well as aging systems. Nothing holding them back here

The game looks quite dense and rich in quality mode everything pops but it's the frame rate that makes it unplayable for me.

I also like to play these games with Rewind turned off, lane indicators I only keep for breaking.

The Horizon hype is definitely real.

This is probably gonna rival Call of Duty numbers when its officially out on the 9th.
