Mapping mouse controls to gyro via Steam Input doesn't work well with games that don't let you combine gamepad and kb/mouse input. Having an in-game option is the ideal way

Oh, it must be you who has been using the Steam Controller since launch and not me I guess

The Steam Input API works with the DualShock4/DualSense controllers as well

An issue Necrokiller can't resolve via undervolting

Some PC games are hard-coded to switch back and forth between controller and kb/mouse when receiving input from both. Using Steam Input to map analog movement to the the left stick while having mouse movement mapped to gyro isn't possible in such games. The only workaround is mapping the keyboard's WASD input to the left analog stick, but then you lose the granularity of analog movement

I want to be able to walk (not always run) while also being able to look around via gyro. Didn't Cyberpunk 2077 just add the ability to walk via a toggle button on the keyboard in today's update for PC? Features yo

Thread was never about losing the strengths of a controller in order to benefit from more precise aiming

Flick stick right analog stick pe hai. Left stick is there for analog movement. Win-win. Time to download Fortnite and give this a go
