Where can I get the best apple pie in Karachi? I want the best apple pie available (it would be second best actually, since my mom isn't making it for me ), and I'm willing to pay a reasonable price for it. Can be anywhere in Karachi, but it should be delicious. I want it served with whipped cream.

I also want mango pie.

Went to taste in train.

The ordinary pizza, nothing special about it.

Chicken smoked burger, it was okayish.

Stuffed chicken, it tastes like vomit. At first I thought it was spoiled but manager said it tastes Like that.

Finally, the roast chicken. Yummmyy!

Lol no he said it has kinda sour-ish type of tast because of mushrooms and stuff. Why would I tell manager that it tastes like vomit.

Tried Fat burger in Karachi.
The burger was a bit small for my taste. Even the triple sized burger wasn't significantly large or huge. However, taste was another story. The burger was juicy and extremely tasty. Loved every bite of it. Fat fries were hot and freshly served too. All in all a good burger but with a relatively higher price tag. A triple sized burger meal for 1150 is steep.

What I recommend is to buy the deal of 2 regular burgers, + 2 fat fries + 2 drinks for 900. This way you would be definitely full and you get 2 cups which you can refill to max before leaving for home... Lolz..

[MENTION=695]haroonshaikh[/MENTION] there is another 750 deal but the burgers are chicken instead of beef.... i weekly have it should had gone for the quad burger man, four pattie lol its cheaper and is like 1260 for burger and 1300 something for meal

tried some more restaurants!

went to Johnny Rockets a few months back, first things first, way over priced!!! 1200 for a damn burger served with just 9-10 fries!! 500 for a damn shake!! Are they crazy or what?? Anyways the burger was good, not the best. The patty was dry, u could barely eat the patty without the burger! Maybe if they reduce their price then its recommended otherwise not!! Oh and did I mentioned that the price of 2, yes that's right TWO onion rings was 75 bucks!!! 50 rupay ki to puri kilo pyaz ajaye!

afterwards had Cream Puffs at Beard Papa's! Its a Japanese chain, the place seemed dull but the cream puffs were yummy, not heavy on the pocket as well...

went to Yoglicious last month, had a cup of froyo, much better than other froyo chains I have tried like Menchies, Tutti Frutti etc! Their froyo is imported from Wales!

tried a local fast food joint in my locality by the name of Chicki Now, they have 2 branches and their paratha roll was so yummy! Must try!!

also went to China Town a while back, wow their decor was awesome and so was the food, great service and environment, a Islamabad based chain!! Must try!!

tried Mozzarella 27 last week, a new pizza joint on the ground floor of Hotel One, their theme is of a casino, a russian roulette is on the roof. place was kinda small but the pizza was great, we tried their special 27 pizza, definitely recommended!

went to Veranda Bistro as well, the place is good, good ambiance but unfortunately I tried Chicken Mushroom Risotto, which was bad really bad, I barely ate 2 or 3 spoons! I won't blame the restaurant as it was my fault to try something new, my friend ordered something different and it was good, i'll go again though!!

finally went to Cafe Barbera, an Italian chain and ate their Dark Chocolate Fudge Cake, OMG it was delicious, yummy yummy, must try guys!! Wasn't in the mood for coffee though as it is a coffee chain exactly!!

Went to BBQ Tonight (Gulberg Branch) yesterday for iftar. The menu was huge and all the dishes tasted really good. It was 1250 per head, inclusive of all taxes. They have infinite supply of 3 flavors of ice tea, Rooh-Afza, Green and Regular tea. Quality of food was also very good, as it usually is at this place.

The downside: Availability of food. People, myself included, were literally arguing with the manager the whole time because the food supply ran short of demand. What's worse is that they weren't doing anything about it. A couple of people left without paying in frustration.

Coming to parathas frozen kind. I find the menu whole wheat the best overall.

Not sure abt health factors. I guess all use palm oil etc.

Went to iftar at verandah lahore

Pathetic quality and taste and way way iver priced. Desert was good rest a waste.

For iftar they gave simple khajoor. One patty and one prawn.

That's it. Nothing else.

It indeed is. Ambience is good and all. I had buffet there an year back for lunch and really enjoyed each and every thing.

But this ramzan iftar it was not good at all.

China town has one for 850+tax, willing to try that out.
