I have given FAST aptitude today. the score i got is 32. I don't kknow what it is. It is written in Correct answers column. had 53% in 1st year. Can someone tell me what weightage it gives. Is that weightage enough to get into FAST? Maybe in 2nd list?

I am really sorry but if your total correct are 32 then I'm afraid you can't get in. My friend had 440+ in part 1 fsc, and his fast score was 50 something... he got the call 3 days before the classes were gonna start.
Now, sum all the correct and the incorrect. English has 0.5 weightage which means that if there were 20 questions then you should consider them as 10 questions. If you got say 10 correct in english then these are actually 5 out of 10. Anyways, forget about the english part for now. Now multiply the sum of incorrect ones with 0.25 (negative marking) and subtract it from the sum of correct ones. That will be the real score.
Here's an example. If a person solves 90 questions out of 100 and the total correct are 60 then the incorrect are 30. Multiply 30 with 0.25 and u get 7.5 . So the actual score of the person is 60-7.5= 52.5.
Maybe merit in Karachi is low but I don't think that's gonna get u in.
Okay, if 32 (out of 100) is your score then your weightage is something like 40%. (fsc marks 40% and test weight 60%).
But what is your actual score after negative marking? My correct (in the last year test) were 68 but including negative marking, the score was 61. My weightage according to the last year was 62%. My name was in waiting in CS on first list then selected in second and but didn't pay the fee and got another call a week later and I was also selected in EE. But this year since my fsc marks are very very low I will have to get a very high score in the test.

64% is my total aggregate after negative marking + adding first years marks. They cnaged the first year weightage this year so It got a lil higher than it would have if it were like before I guess.But what is your actual score after negative marking? Dude, IDK about Karachi campuses but in islamabad, I don't think so... another friend of mine with 40 something score in the test and 382 in fsc part 1 was selected in fast peshawar (he didn't select it though) a day before classes were gonna start. They put him in CS. He had a pretty bad score but he was selected in Peshawar campus. If the merit in Karachi is low, there may be some slight chances for you but don't expect even in the second list. Wait now. Apply to other unis as well. FAST will take time.

Your score is 32/100 after negative marking. Ignore your fsc marks for now because you just have to maintain that above 50 percent. If your score in the admission test is lower than 40 percent after negative marking then its going to be tough for you man. Do keep some backup university, apply to bahria.

i don't know exactly. I have not wrote everything on result slip. i am calculating '9' afer negative marking when i minus 68 from 100. since i got 32 correct answer it means 68 were wrong. which are not i also left some question so i cannot get negative marking.
I have 55.75 in the test after negative marking and 73.90% in FSc. Is the negative marking in English that has 0.5 weight and Ad Maths with 1.25 weight different? Plus can anyone tell me what my marks will be after addition of FSc %
yes, Same happened here. I was downso down. I was so happy that i will be going to FAST for admisison ,and when i attempted , i was pretty sure all the answers were correct.. but atlast , it fell me down.
Maybe we're the same people from different dimesions that somehow came to be in the same dimension^^Your marks are probably close to mine. like 62 - 64% our numbers are strangely similar both in FSc and the aptitude test
