Far Cry 5 on Base ps4 was stutter badly and the fps was mostly at lower than 30fps.. u can clearly feel it being bad.

Far Cry 5 on Ps4 Pro at 1080p was smooth and the SMAA implementation looked amazing no jaggy lines etc.

How co-op works in Far Cry 5



As soon as you complete Far Cry 5's tutorial, you can play the open-world shooter co-op online with a friend, Ubisoft has said.

You can play through the entire campaign in co-op. Your Friend for Hire appears as a custom player character and can fight alongside you throughout the game, dropping in and out with full voice-chat support.

You can share ammo and health packs, and can even turn on friendly fire if you fancy living dangerously.

It's worth noting, however, that only the host can accept missions, recruit and command Guns for Hire and keep the progress made in the world. Your friend keeps all their progression as a player, and retains any cash, guns, perks or loot they earn (except items unlocked by missions).

Today, Ubisoft announced the details of the Far Cry 5 season pass. The upgrade will include an updated version of Far Cry 3 as well as three bizarre new pieces of downloadable content.

Rather than expanding on Far Cry 5’s storyline with its first three pieces of DLC, Ubisoft is heading in a completely different direction. Dead Living Zombies will pit players against “hordes of the undead” in a “zombie-infested wasteland.” Hours of Darkness takes players to Vietnam, where they will do battle against the Viet Cong. Finally, Lost on Mars zips them into a spacesuit and drops them onto the red planet to fight against giant spiders.

All three experiences stand in stark contrast to Far Cry 5’s controversial take on right-wing extremism in rural Montana. They seem more in line with Blood Dragon, a cyber-punk adventure that surprised fans when it was released as a stand-alone expansion for Far Cry 3.

As it turns out, the included Far Cry 3 Classic Edition will also be a stand-alone game sold separately. Those who pre-order the Far Cry 5 season pass will get access to it four weeks early. The remaster is described as “an update to the classic open-world adventure game.” We’ve reached out to Ubisoft to get details on what, if anything, has changed content-wise from the 2012 release.

Ubisoft is touting this month’s launch of Far Cry 5 with a live-action short film titled Far Cry 5: Inside Eden’s Gate premiering Monday, March 5 on Amazon Prime.
The teaser embedded above makes the film out to be a scene-setter establishing the Eden’s Gate cult and its doings in fictitious Hope County, Montana. The story is told through the eyes of three vloggers who head out west to learn more about the cult, and it looks like they get way more than they bargained for, once they encounter the Koresh-like leader Daniel Seed.
Ubisoft has a thing for live-action promos of its big franchise. Ghost Recon Wildlands got a 90-second live action trailer before its launch last year. Assassin’s Creed Origins also gotlive-action hype before its launch in October. And In 2016, Ubisoft and Amazon Primeteamed up with a live action short for Tom Clancy’s The Division.

I am not a big fan of DLCs especially in this way where they even have proper trailers for the DLC even before the base game has been released. But god damn the DLC contents look dope af. Not that I am going to opt in but definitely makes the gold edition tempting.

Game seems to run comfortably above 60 FPS at 1080p Ultra preset on a 1060. Not bad either, with seemingly no extra settings management this will be a comfortable locked 60 FPS experience on my Max Q as well.
