Why Earbuds, some may wonder.

Well, if you have the time, this may really help you out:

The TY HiZ 32 Ohms.

Though this would be an apple to orange comparison, for $5s, these earbuds give everything that I have, a run for the money.
They easily sound as good as my most expensive, $800 cans, in their form-factor.

I still have that:

- Superb bass and sub-bass (that quantity, quality, texture) minus the thump. I mean, duh. These are earbuds, but you're not gonna BELIEVE that bass in such open earbuds until you hear it. Well now you can... for 5 dollars. Beat that!
- Blissful instrument separation - puts all of my in-ears, earbuds and some of my headphones to shame.
- Sufficient sound-stage - it's not SUPER, but enough and airy and roomy. They're semi-open.
- Clear and discernible mids - very nice presentation and separation overall.
- Great highs - not the best of the best, but there being luscious and not sibilant or fatiguing.
- Reasonable build - feel more solid that any other buds. Cable's thick and durable. You seriously can't complain.
- The resolution of the sound... wow... the resolution. Makes the famous VE Monks+ sound like 96kbps. Hi-Res: Indeed.
- No real amping requirements. Plug and play is JUST FINE.

Overall, achieving such headphones/speaker level balance in such buds is a caveat, and even more so at just $5.

Those who thought VE Monks+ had the best bang for the buck (including myself) should just see a better bang.

I'm an electronic music listener and I APPROVE THESE BUDS for bass-heads as well.

Simply bliss.
