Does anybody use iTunes for purchasing music in Pakistan?

If so, how do you do it? iTunes is region locked, meaning I can't purchase music off of it because i'm in Pakistan (and so is the address on my debit card.)

Hell, I can't even view iTunes for music in Pakistan -- does anybody know of a work around? Thanks.

1. Create an apple ID for US region. If you don't have US address card then you can choose the payment option "None" for now and setup the ID on your device.

2. Now you can see music appearing in iTunes and you can go for Apple Music monthly subscription too.

3. Use your local card and purchase US iTunes store credit (there are a few local vendors and they do charge a fee) and redeem it in your App store. Once done, you will see your purchased dollars in your store credit.

4. Use that credit to purchase anything from the App store/iTunes and pay for any subscription.

I haven't bought songs from iTunes however, I have subscribed to Apple Music and HBO Now (both available for US region) and they are working flawlessly here in Pak.

Thanks for your response --

Just a follow-up question. Did you make an apple ID for US region from within Pakistan? I hope they don't verify your geography or something. Also, did you just choose a random US address for your account?

Yes, I made that ID for US region in Pakistan. I gave my brother's address but I don't think they verify any such thing.

You reap what you sow. This is what happens when you take away choice from consumers. Even with 88% split going to developers, they can't recoup costs. Meanwhile, Helldivers 2 is a massive hit for Sony thanks in big part to Steam.
