Does a phone having BDS (GPS alternative) help in pakistan

If you look at phone specs, many phones only have A GPS while some have (additionally) glonass and bds

Wanted to know if anyone had an idea whether having BDS helps in Pakistan

i've never heard of any app that uses these chips. perhaps chinese or russian apps use them

BDS, glonaar, A-GPS are technologies for that help with locating a person. No app would use them directly. It's a hardware feature.

In any case, I asked a similar question on reddit and apparently BDS will help in giving a more accurate position of a person.
