I am using a fake version of XP SP2
and I want to download DirectX 10...

Is it possible?
whenever I try to download it, the Microsoft website first checks whether my copy of windows is genuine...

firstly you dont need dx10 on xp, you can rather install vista, secondly you need to turn on updates , but you cant do that with a fake copy!

and yea one more thing once u enable ur update and if it does updates ur system, u will be faced with regular error mesages during ur work or even wen login in..it some kinda GENUINE WINDOWS error which is quite iritating during work or wen ui playing games...
and i dont think u need DX10 on XP..u cant even run the prgms which does support dx10..so go for resource eating VISTA if u want to go for DX10..
