II wouldn't know of the hype even though I started playing in November. Thing is it's an FPS with ALOT of grind sonits going to take them some time, Wow has the samw shit, new expansion ka ahit, play thr raid ns be done with it, people come back for the new expansion.Even though I bought destiny on launch date . I didn't play it for a few months because of another grind game xD Diablo 3 on PC but after reading some interesting article on Destiny and about the raids. I kinda wanted in. I haven't raided since the WoW days. Anyways I am still happy with how HoW turns out, provided its more challenging then VoG, I just want that raid and loot to be better and more awarding, don't care about story and hope the new vendor like eris has some good stuff as well like weps and such. There is literally no other game I want to play ATM. Teltale episodes for GoT and borderlands are out in these 2 weeks. Witcher has still some time. I'll wait for dying light till it goes cheap on the pg market. Other then that I have destiny and the ocassional hearthstone :p

What I think Bungie should include in the HoW raid and every raid after... : DestinyTheGame

Okay this idea is pretty neat. Its like how it happened in WoW where you would gather in front of a portal to start the raid, finding people to join it for. Its pretty good, hope some new shit like that is added.

Also I am wondering if undying mind is a nightfall becuse Jesus christ that would be hard. No cheese spot and no place to escape D=

https://www.reddit.com/r/DestinyThe...the_things_you_need_to_know_about_bungie_and/

All the key positions are probably vacant as per this thread, they could be hiring for the next project you may say that but from the current position of the game I am pretty sure no one is there in the lead positions. The progress has gone to zero since the release of TBD.

@r3aper I'm simply saying that your hate is wrongly directed at Luke's post lol. There's a ton of stuff to hate in this game. Most of it is well-documented. But implying that Bungie is lying that they've not learned from the TDB exotic/legendary conundrum, when clearly they've publicly accepted and assured that it won't be repeated, is going overboard.

Most of those positions have been open even before the main game came out. I doubt if this is alarming news. About 500 people are already in the house.

Edit:

You're also looking at all of these positions wrongly. None of them signify that this section of the game is completely unattended. All of these positions simply are an addition to the team that's already working. "Designer" is never one person. It's a whole group which produces content and the leaders/producers decide what to change and what to axe.

Same goes for lead story writers. There is never 1 person doing it. Ask around.

I will get the HoW dlc I am 80% sure of that, but there is 20% doubt and if it proves to be lackluster that will be the deciding factor for me. I just cannot go on and keep wasting time on something that will keep on ripping me off. The exotic reset, the half assed decision to add commendations, the ill designed (last two parts) of the new raid, lackluster exotics (dlc ones), raid gear became obsolete and more of that....
That is my only gripe with the game.

[h=2]Destiny heavy ammo bug fix incoming[/h]

A longstandingDestiny bug in which players lose valuable heavy weapons ammo is being targeted for annihilation by Bungie's engineers.

In a Bungie blog update today, sandbox engineer Jon Cable offers a nice layman's look at how deep bugs get by the team, and why they can be so tricky to fix. This is a bug that's been irritating Destiny players for some time (no-one likes to see valuable ammo disappear), so why hasn't it been fixed?

He said that it was a problem of mathematics and calculations. The game is basically trying to figure out the player's inventory after a death or loading screen, and getting into a muddle. So, it ought to be easy to fix, right?

"Fixing bugs in a live game is always about managing risk," writes Cable. "What are the chances that the fix is going to cause an issue that might be worse than the original bug? Players outnumber our testers by factors of several thousand, so if there is a problem that slips through the cracks, it is virtually guaranteed that the community will find it. This bug was mainly risky because it was at the intersection of a lot of different systems: player profiles, investment, sandbox, perks, and weapon management."

Cable said that "there are a lot of weapon and armor perks in the game" and changing the order of how they are applied has unforeseen impacts across the game. Just fixing that one problem "would have required a large restructuring of the way the game works."

He added that the current fix "minimizes the chances that a new problem would be introduced." It looks like players will have to keep an eye out, to see if the progblem has been entirely eradicated.

Omg bungie enough with the shitty dlc weps sells from xur. No land beyond and dragons breath repeats are annoying AF. I would love it if I can get a plan c or something else that doesn't totally suck ass.

I am gonna spam the gauntlet engram in hopes of finding the Sunbreakers.

When Xur brought the engrams last time I wasted 92 motes of light and got 2x Don't Touch Me and 2x Ruined Wings and I have only one character which is a Warlock. Goddamn this RNG!

[h=2]Destiny player digs up hidden House of Wolves DLC details, Bungie urges caution[/h]

A Destiny player on Reddit looks to have dug up some early details on the game's next expansion, House of Wolves, including all manner of gear, weapons, a new light level cap raise and possibly even a release date. But Bungie warns that Destiny players shouldn't get too carried away with those leaked House of Wolves details.

Reddit user megamanexe64, who is apparently playing Destiny in Japanese, says that they managed to uncover dozens of pieces of Crucible and Vanguard armor for the Hunter, Warlock and Titan classes, as well as a handful of new guns and rocket launchers. The new items were allegedly spotted and screen-capped while visiting an in-game vendor.

There are some other intriguing details posted by megamanexe64, including what looks like a new faction and a level 32 weekly Nightfall strike. There's also speculation that House of Wolves will be released on May 19, though it's not clear how the Reddit user came to that particular conclusion.

A screenshot says House of Wolves will introduce "a new Awoken storyline plus an exclusive Raid," "three new Crucible maps and a new Fallen Strike" and "hundreds of new weapons, armor and gear."

While much of the information appears to be sourced from the game itself — there are numerous screenshots of the new gear — Bungie community manager David Dague, aka DeeJ, says those details are all subject to change.

"Aside from giving it a name, Bungie has yet to reveal the House of Wolves," Dague wrote on the Bungie forums. "That means that anything you know about it can change. We have a team working on the experience in their own fancy room, and they have some exciting surprises up their sleeves."

Dague referred to the items as "placeholder" and that Bungie reserves the right to change what's seen in the leaked images.

"Any stats or assumptions about power or impact or handsomeness are months old, and do not reflect the things that we're doing to adapt to what you've taught us about Destiny. There is a process here, and you're a part of it," he said.

"All we ask is that you leave your mind open to the evolutions that are inevitable. What you see here are very old ghosts from our pre-launch database. These are not the necessarily wolves you're looking for."
Last month, Bungie designer Luke Smith said that the developer is looking to correct some of the mistakes it made with Destiny's reward economy in The Dark Below, Destiny's first expansion.

Busy day in Destiny.

Massive weapon tuning update | Guardian spotted with light level 39/42 armor | Xur incoming

The weapon tuning update this time is one of the better ones. Even though my favorite weapon (Handcannon) is getting a nerf, it's one that makes sense and largely won't even be felt by me. Long-range battles with HCs are too infrequent and I prefer to switch to my Preadyth's Revenge for anything distant anyway.

Hallelujah for range nerf on Fusion Rifles and damage buffs Pulse rifles and Shotguns! (fuck yes)

It's fine that only the base damage for ARs got nerfed. Crit damage being untouched is a nice balance. Though Necrochasm just got slightly more nerfed. Hopefully individual-level weapon buffs/nerfs are coming soon. Necro's ineffectiveness is widely acknowledged and I'm hopeful it will be addressed soon.

[h=2]Play Destiny on unsupported Android devices, thanks to this unofficial app[/h]

Android users can use their smartphones to play PlayStation 4 games like Destiny, thanks to an unofficial port of Sony’s official PS4 Remote Play app.

The official PS4 Remote Play app on Google Play lets users connect to their consoles and PS4 games on several Sony Xperia smartphones and tablets. As YouTube user NightmareTacoGaming demonstrated this week, an Android APK from TheScriptKitty extends official functionality to devices like the Samsung Galaxy S3 in the video above.

Press play above to see how it works, from downloading the Remote Play Port APK to your Android device to controlling Destiny with touch. If you want to use a controller with the game, there are even more hoops to jump through, though TheScriptKitty takes you through the steps. There's even a Reddit post explaining how to install the APK.

A word of warning, though: The unofficial app allows unofficial capabilities. It’s available outside of the Google Play store, and you’ll have to install it at your own risk.
