Well, one thing we can be sure of, is that Bungie will change the game for the better. But one thing we need to assure ourselves is that all of our demands won't be met. Mostly because of technical/longterm reasons.

Yar nahi yar, this game have been falling like dominoes for me since the launch of TBD. Hard Mode CE was probably the last straw for me. I'll give it a go again when I reach 32, but I have not yet heard any praise for the raid weapons either ... so my motivation is around zero.

I got my Atheon's Epilogue after my 19th hard mode Atheon kill last weekend, so yeah RNG makes me sick sometimes. I have been wanting a RED DEATH but damned RNG doesn't give me shit.

lol did you even read that neogaf post from Luke? He criticized their own decisions about TDB. On the same grounds you've complained about. Which is why I linked it here in the first place. The second thing I pointed out was how different this game had become even before TDB rolled out. Am sure they will make the changes as needed. They have better stats than any one of us to determine what people have loved and what they've detested.

They need the game to stay afloat more than we need to play the game. Remember that.

And if they fail, then to hell with them.

Better RNG, more loot , more variety would seriously make a lot of people happy. Introduce more raid gear sets. That's how Diablo 3 came back from the dead Also you can't seriously think a light 31 is going to survive. A lot of streamers already fortified that this raid on HM is def not to be attempted by lvl 31 unless your team doesn't mind carrying. I remember being 29 and tried to join some VoG HMS and CE. They would just kick me on spot. I just need 20 more shards. I have full raid gear minus the helm but I got a good exotic helm covering me for that. Only thing I need is shards and I am Gucci. Also I heard the scout rifle raid is good.
lol I got atheons epilogue on my first and 3 atheon kill. Haven't got a VoC yet which is a shame.

Ok so last night I was at Crota Checkpoint being a level 31 you have to be really really cautious of your surroundings. Your damage output is shit on those yellow ultras, my fully upgraded Vanquisher VIII @ 331 dmg was not doing shit man seriously those two knights in the crystal chamber... emptied clip after clip and took out just a fraction of their health had to take them out using snipers and grenades. But still at 31 I survived the whole time, the boomers can still one hit you so be on the lookout for them.

Unfortunately I wasn't able to finish it, as we were not able to find a good "swordbearer". The whole success of the Crota encounter relies on having a good sword bearer. This isn't much of a team effort, we are just supporting a single guy here and the success factor here is timing only. This isn't a challenge its some stupid cheap mechanics.

After that I went straight to Eris and converted all my radiant energies into shards and hit 32, spent about 15k glimmer to achieve level 32 ..... gonna see how the raid mechanics change for you when you are at 32.

Last night I finally gave into the temptation and bought the New Monarchy cloak to start leveling it up. I just can't stand how good their weapons look. Not the ones on sale, but the ones that randomly drop. My hope is to take its rank as high as possible in order to start getting their non-inventory weapons like the Red Hand and Prudence II. I'm liking the vanguard fusion Plug One, as well as the Crucible Long Bow Sythesis. Ugh. So many good weapons. So few marks.

Also prepare your anuses because today is probably Omnigul day.

I hope you have enough shards to upgrade that last piece of gear, you need precisely about 21 radiant shards to upgrade those last three nodes.

BTW you know what Omnigul did before Crota tagged her along? She used to make cheese in the room left to her chamber. Now you can go and sit there and cheese her off....

No, run left from the hallway that leads to the chamber ...move under the ramp Omnigul is standing on and you would see a room on top. Jump up there and move to the back, nothing can hit you there. Now the strategy here is that you need atleast 2 guys for the cheese. One guy stays at the back and one guy stays at the front and keep shooting Omnigul till hes dead. Now the guy sitting at the back will revive the dead one and repeat till Omnigul is dead.

With Destiny's next batch of downloadable content, the House of Wolves add-on, Bungie is hoping to right many of the mistakes the developer made with The Dark Below, game designer Luke Smith said in a recent post on NeoGAF.


Smith, responding to another post that expressed concerns about changes to upgrading exotic weapons and purchasing new vendor gear in House of Wolves, wrote that "mistakes we made with the [The Dark Below's] reward economy will not be repeated." Smith said he was specifically referring to gear from vendors invalidating the efforts of Vault of Glass raids and exotic weapon upgrades resetting the item's talents.



Bungie's philosophy on doling out loot to players will continue to evolve based on player feedback, Smith said. The developer aims to "lessen the grind and get players to the fun parts of their arsenal faster."


"We sat down and talked about the rewards for [Vault of Glass] and the rates vs. [Crota's End] and ended up with the following: Increase drop rates globally in [Crota's End]; we wanted dedicated players to be around 32 or real close by the time Hard mode came out; [and] increase the variability of perks that a given piece can roll," Smith wrote. "
The goal here: Players would reach 32 easier than 30, but would have more customization and options to build the perfect set (in terms of stats, perks, weapon affinities).


"The part where this didn't work as well as we'd hoped is with the Shard economy. Shards are a are a barrier between you and equipping a sweet new piece of gear."

HOLYHOLY OMNIGUL TITTIES I GOT THE LAST WORD FROM NIGHTFALL LOLO. Also I know it was on sale from xur 2 weeks back but I didn't have enough coins. Looks pretty good. I got the Secret Handshake vanguard shotgun from the nightfall. Looking at it's range, it seems useless. I've kept it for now and will test it out properly before dismantling. However, that was the only downer last night. We went on to do NM Crota and I got myself the hunter's gauntlets and boots! All set for level 32 now!

So the Crux is now dropping, and many people are posting clips and screens of the "exotic" Necrochasm. From the reviews that I have read everyone is disappointed with it, well thats no surprise considering the exotics they bought in with the DLC have been underwhelming to start with.

So its not like the Vex, its just a trophy for you to show off.

So Bungie disappoints yet again.

On a different note, I haven't done the nightfall yet, I am hoping to get either Red Death, SunBreakers or Heart of Praxic fire. Last week I got 11 assssss energies....and previously I got a stupid legendary auto rifle.

Yup. Looking at the stats before. Necro is a class of auto rifles I hate. Not along of range and shit stability unless you put on the perfect balance perk. If they only made it have stats like suros regime. Although it is a good weapon to take out trash so its more of a situational exotic.Can help in taking out trash in HoW raid once that's out. Good thing they realized their mistakes and make a way better call with HoW.

lol [MENTION=656]r3aper[/MENTION] is completely blinded with hate now. Hyping your product and accepting its mistakes are 2 different things. Bungie has yet to even START hyping HoW. Accepting the blunder in TDB before the hype train rolls is an excellent sign. At least our raid gear and exotic gear will not be screwed and hopefully there will be an easy path to take them forward.
