XBOX Dashboard Update is Live - Reports of bricked consoles and Xbox LIVE connection issue

HI all, Can anyone please tell me clearly "is it safe to upgrade your XBOX360 new dashboard for modded LT 2.0 consoles" I have modded Xbox360 console with lt 2.0, but i have problem when i want to play assasin creed brotherhood, after the game fully installed on Xbox Harddisk and also the logo of brotherhood appears, but when i want to play, after the dark screen and some loading,it gives me the error message "This game is not supported,contact xbox support" But the same game same disc was played by my cousin on his console on firmware previous than lt 2.0 (i dun know its name lt 1.0 or 1.9) so that i want to update my dashboard to new one, plz anyone help me is it safe to update, plz answer briefly..

Could you list the dashboard version you have? I will give you an indication as to what you need to do. If you have the LT+1.1 patched disc, you need a new disc to pay on LT+2.0. Your dashboard should be 13599 I assume. Given that case, just burn a new disc with the newer patches and you are good to go

The DAE.bin is the new dynamic challenge set that gets updated 'silently' on your console as soon as you go on live. You need LT+3.0 and newly burnt discs to play online currently.

You will be able to play all games apart from the XDG3 titles and the AP2.5 titles aka, none of the recently release ones. Fifa 12 will work though.

So Skyrim, Saints Row 3 and MW3 wont work as well? And is there a slight chance that I might escape this bad fate? ANd is there any other way to play these xgd3 and AP 2.5 titles apart from upgrading to LT 3.0? (like a boot disc or something?)

Well, check for the title update method. Some members were using it and it worked fine. Not sure if it will work online though

No. The DAE.bin file will update the moment you go on live. You will need to do the TU fix again.
