I don't think amazon will launch in pakistan at least not till we fix our roads, if alibaba does acquire daraz, it'll be almost impossible for companies like yayvo or hsn to compete and they'll be forced to improve their services and all of them together could pressure the govt to work on the country's infrastructure and security.
Dude aliexpress alipay and Tao bao are all subsidiary of Alibaba group plz correct
Alibaba,AliExpress,Alipay(Paypal for china) all are subsidiary of Taobao and Aliexpress is just 1/3 of Taobao where sellers with knowledge and English sell there stuff I am a VIP5 user on taobao where as VIP6 is highest

If we get them here in PK it would be amazing then they can even introduce TMALL over time which is their own mall for products and not ran by 3rd party sellers but their own certified products

It seems good news and hope they price thier products fair as my brain is boiling to see the online prices of 1050Ti laptops. I mean these pathetic online shops are demanding the price higher than 1060 laptops only because they are new? Here are the examples
MSI GS63 Stealth Pro-016 15.6" Gaming Notebook Price in Pakistan | Buy MSI Core i7 7th Gen GeForce GTX 1050 Ti Notebook | iShopping.pk
MSI GS73 Stealth Pro-009 17.3" Gaming Notebook Price in Pakistan | Buy MSI Core i7 7th Gen GeForce GTX 1050 Ti Notebook | iShopping.pk
and
ASUS ROG Strix GL753VD - 7th Gen Ci7 QuadCore 32GB DDR4 1TB HDD+128GB SSD 4 GB nVidia GeForce GTX 1050 17.3" Full HD 1080p Win 10 - 7th Generation - Laptop

and now see 1060 laptops that are far better and VR ready
Asus ROG GL502VM
Asus ROG Strix GL502VM 15.6" Gaming Notebook Price in Pakistan | Buy Asus ROG Core i7 6th Gen GeForce GTX 1060 Notebook | iShopping.pk

Hope Daraz keeps the fair prices.

Waiting for Dell 7567, Lenovo Legion Y50 and Acer VX15 that suppose to be cheaper but with our online shops I don't think they'll be any cheaper.

This is not going to happen. That price tag is too big for just a drop-shipping online store. All popular online stores in Pakistan don't have items in stock. I think this is because Pakistani e-commerce market is not big enough for investors to risk capital.

Alibaba testing Pakistan’s e-commerce market - The Express Tribune

Last year, Alibaba formally launched its subsidiary, UCWeb – a mobile internet company, in Pakistan through which it was providing mobile browsing service with the help of UC Browser.
The other venture, which has not been formally launched, but is present in Pakistan, is Aliexpress, an e-commerce ancillary that works in the retail segment in different countries.
According to industry experts, the group is currently receiving around 15,000 orders per day from Pakistan via Aliexpress.

You reap what you sow. This is what happens when you take away choice from consumers. Even with 88% split going to developers, they can't recoup costs. Meanwhile, Helldivers 2 is a massive hit for Sony thanks in big part to Steam.
