Single player was never going to have MTX and it still won't.
As far as MP is concered, zombie shooters from Sony have had pay-to-win MTX that people swear by about still having a following today

There was misconception created by websites that SP will have MTX which have been cleared up.
We havent seen how CDPR will implement it in MP. But we know ND had pay to win unlocks in 2013 which people are A-Okay with lol
