Very True Aspect. The initiation of Private Channels indeed took Pakistan's Media to a Deviated Track.
The only reason behind this is that Some of those private channels have the ultimate objective of enhancing their profitability rather than the Image of Pakistan or even to perform their duties Ethically.

Those channels are indeed illiterate, imbecile and i am afraid the convert the empty minds to follow their agenda very easily.

Media is such a powerful tool, it can present right as wrong and wrong as right.

Lol i don't see indian culture invading us rather than saudi culture which is turning our country upside down...

Every where i see more and more burqas and strict rules are cropping everywhere and that is on the rise.... How the hell is that related to indian culture??

The thing is we are so super afraid of change (or whatever.... i cant exactly put my finger on it) that everything we use we are afraid would turn us into kaafirs and what not..... european shampoo, wearing jeans, high heeled shoes, shaving? .....

For f***s sake, lets enjoy life and let others do the same. If you feel our home audience finds indian dramas more addictive and fun, then try to out compete them rather than outright ban things. Life is so suffocating here.

yeah that hypocrisy is prevalent on our media nowadays they sell religion now i don't need to explain more look at those extravagant ramazan transmission which have least concern to ramazan
BTW Indian dramas have lost popularity amongst the masses now rather pakistani dramas have started to air in india since last year ....by the way I don't remember indian media teaching anybody to chop anyone's head-off just because of different sect/religion/idea

yup i think thats why i am into old school now , and if i follow entertainment i dont like pakistani or indian , bcz I've watched those epic tv shows of PTV that nothing gonna be made like them again

hmm, Very Good Poiint raised. one of the influence that we usually ignores. but yeah, from past few years, Social media get greater attention and development in especiallly our country. and on the top of it the Fake Videos with Fake descriptions. total bullshitting all around on them. they targeting Social Media because of high rate of users especially from Pakistan. nudity and distractions on the top.

i agree with this but i won't say that social media is a bad thing, its us who making it bad with negative use, also it's governments job to cut youth from social media with providing parks playgrounds and youth sports events at school college level....

American bacha will buy a skateboard and play in streets with friends and Pakistani bacha will ask for either a gun pc or mobile phone and will start watching porno or use Facebook thats where harabi starts

I agree every problem is created by person itself , govt has failed totally in terms of law and order and developments of parks , I'm against opening of new news channels as well .

but American bachas are into social networking more than us , infact they are more stick to screen than us , lack of communication and heavy work load has forced their kids to create and indulge in social networking world rather than real world , kids getting born after 2000 have very less interest in sports or out door activities there .

our bacha is getting mobile and pc from there parents , cause parents don't want to send kids on street playing due to mainly law and order , kidnapping crimes etc etc , warna our bachas want to play but they can't , cause from school to homes we don't have left any proper space for our kids to play both lacks play grounds .

I think we should not ban anything, its about creating better content indians create better content so people watch them while pakistanis do not
Tell me when was the last time you saw a Pakistani tv show whose target market was teens or young adults you would have to go back to 90s or 80s the shows now they make are just dumb
