guys what i was trying to say was that in the screen shots posted there was a difference in what was reported and what was displayed on the oc utility i was just trying to get everyone on the same page .
Also i guess then i have a unlucky chip which doesn't go about 1350 =(
MSI 6G gaming boards do not house binned gpu chips.so 1400ish max boost should be considered excellent...on the other side MSI lightning boards do house binned chips, making them more OC friendly...i would like to see someone push lightning 980ti on PG..
and yes gigabyte G1 series have binned chips also and i have seen them doing over 1700+ mhz on core on web...so i consider my 1500ish a mediocre OC..
nice score rizwan
Dark Sith where are your scores ? i need motivation =( I'm too caught up between work to bench .. motivate me bro !

where did i mentioned that 1700+ was on air or liquid.
i have seen g1 980ti doing 1700ish on many international forums.
i am not here to claim someone's ability to oc.
if 15 out of 1 was able to achieve 1600+ boost,dn 1700+ is not so far for one out of million g1's out there.

1400Mhz would be an average boost clock, not excellent at all.
MSI's lightning and Gigabyte do not bin their GPU's, that's a bunch of horse. Gigabyte's G1 may be performing better due to its better quality components, and a custom VRM zone, like always.

I have heard that it is now unplayable in countries which do not support handful of third world countries not recognized by Sony like Pakistan. Steam is a true global platform. Then they cry that console gaming is dying.
