Good connection for clifton block 5?

I live in clifton block 5. I currently have a qubee 1mbps connection that I pay 1700 for. I'm thinking about switching over to connect or leonet. Would anyone please suggest which one would be better in this area or any other provider? Would really appreciate it.

Installer leo for my office in block 5. 2k installation charges down the drain. Not worth it at all. Got it removed after a month.

As for connect, currently using it at my place. Speeds are just average.

Don't ever go for Leonet it sucks never stabled and customer service is terrible.

I am currently using connect and pretty satisfied, the only draw back is that they throttle torrent speed.

Can confirm. Facebook on desktop is mysteriously slow on connect net. I wonder whats the reason..

It used to look like this:-

now it looks like this:-

My dealer said they're doing this to get rid of the card recharge system. While that sounds good on paper, there has been nothing but issues for me since these changes. Some websites would stop working randomly, I'm having issues playing games online (GTA Online, specially, has completely stopped working), no more happy hours at night although overall speed is faster throughout the day than it used to be and the throttle on torrents is gone.

Still there is a user id. Maybe ISPs will recharge this id from their end.

He is giving you shared internet on which most Connect providers use 1 ID and create a VPN and give it to several users and IMO it can be really bad at times. If you are paying him full. Just get a proper connect ID And about card recharges. You can charge multiple card at once too. Like if you recharge 6 yellow cards it'll extend your ID by 180 days [Give or take] No need to opt for a shared connection.

And its not even safe. Data can be easily sniffed. Just get your normal connect id at earliest.

Yeah, I'm gonna- they did this just on monday. It's been too troublesome although the speed's been great. Can you define data sniffing?

I just shifted to Connect from PTCL like a few days ago,Been happy with it till now,
Just a few questions if you won't mind/
1.I'm trying to download Ubuntu 15 from the official website but I am getting only 110 Kb/s on Connect Orange(3 Mbps) shouldn't I get like 250-300kb/s?
P.S I'm trying to download it at 1:00 am.
2.What is the happy hours you guys talk about?
