Connect Communication New Packages

Connect Communication comes up with new revised Packages and also upgrade it's old customers to new packages. Here are the details with my dealer.

BLUE 1mbps = 800 Rs
YELLOW 2mbps = 1150 Rs
ORANGE 3mbps = 1300 Rs
RED 5mbps = 1800 Rs (Downloding Limit 300 GB)
BROWN 10mbps = 2400 Rs (Downloding Limit 400 GB)
PURPLE 20mbps = 3400 Rs (Downloding Limit 500 GB)
GREEN 30mbps = 5400 Rs (Downloding Limit 600 GB)

Connect upgrade it's old customer packages with following.
4mbps upgraded to 5mbps
6mbps upgraded to 10mbps
10mbps upgraded to 20mbps

Connect's speeds are really awesome, but their service and maintenance is pathetic. When i used to have it, the internet would be down for more than half of the month.

I am using Fariya and also switched to connect for few months. A good service is more dependable on a good dealer that how fast he is resolving issues and decreasing down time. Packages they are giving are still not attractive. Fiber Link giving much more appealing packages.
I wish they decrease the rate and offer more. Now 150MB is available for 5000 rupees

Why is my dealer offering Brown for Rs. 3000?

My dealer is also charging 3000 Rs. for Brown package. If he was charging 2400 Rs. instead I would have changed my Red package to Brown package. Also double speed or happy hours are still based on old package speeds, they have not upgraded it. On Red package I am still getting old 8 Mbps speed during happy hours, it should be 10 Mbps now as Red package has been upgraded to 5 Mbps.

I was thinking of getting connect to replace my PTCL 4mbps connection, but now I know it is not an option.[emoji20]
Would you recommend Fariya over PTCL (if you have experience with them of course)

Connect is not bad itself per se. Depends on your location and especially who your dealer is. If he is cooperative then you ll have no problems whatsoever.

I myself disconnected PTCL because of frequent disconnections and shitty service and shifted to Connect Communications because it was my only other option. Sure there have been some downtimes but it is far far better than PeeTCL. I have PTCL 2MB limited as a backup plan, and it still suffers the same fate of disconnecting randomly whenever it wants, other times it is just pure shit and you cant even browse properly.

P.S: Pings are superb with Connect to EU West i.e around 135-140ms.

i dont know about Fariya but i used connect for 5-6 months and it was slow and gaming was always laggy...
