I had installed windows 10 preview and was not using my computer. I stated the computer after about 4-6 months, after that there was notification on my computer screen that it needed to be re-installed as the preview version expired. A friend of mine downloaded it on flash-drive for me, I started the computer and it wont start now. It turns on then goes off again and on again. And the process continues.
I have removed the wires, plugged them again, removed the ram sticks and installed them with different steps but its still the same.
I have also tired to restore the bios using the gigabyte dual bios technology and it wont work.

Any Suggestion?

Regards

if its going on a shutdown and start up loop.
Then its probably an hardware fault.

My first guess would be the mobo.
Have you touched any parts on it lately?

but lets rule that out.
Reinstall windows if you can.
if this happens during installation or after your done.
Then we'll go back to my first guess.

It CAN also be your powersupply.
Try checking with a spare one from your friend.
If same issue, check with your motherboard and see if theres any burnt IC next to the main power socket.

What is your motherboard btw?

1. Disconnect all wires, remove the cell / battery for at least a minute, put it back, connect wires and boot. If no success, try 2nd option.
2. Power off the system, disconnect main power, remove the HSF, remove processor, reseat it properly, mount the HSF and try to boot it.

If both of above tricks does not work, than you may consider bios recovery procedure. Do all these things with just one stick of ram and keep swaping it in different dims during testing.

Sorry for the late reply guys GloriousChicken KDKHAN , my motherboard is "GA-B85M D3H" I did not write it on the first post as it is mentioned in my profile.
I have tried removing the wires reinstalling them, turning on my computer without heat sink as well but the situation is same as before.
I have also tried to check my power supply by connecting the green wire to a black one on 24 pin with a wire that is used to tie the calbes. The power supply did not start. Is it because I used the wrong thing to check it with or my power supply really is dead?

I Wouldnt recommend using the supply check method like that if you dont know how to do it. just for your safety.
Ask a friend for his supply for a day.

I tool the power supply to a mechanic shop and tested it there, it is working fine. What now?
Lets suppose your supply is fine.
Run the PC without your GPU, that'd rule out any remaining issues with it.

-
I'd like more details though.
how often does the loop starts
and when does it start.

I might be able to rule out some more advices that way.

I currently run my PC without GPU and the loop starts when I press the power button to turn my computer on, it directly goes into the loop without giving any signal to the display.

Take out the auxiliary wire from your motherboard. (The one which connects from your chasis to mobo for the power/reset button).

Start the PC with the onboard power button.
And if you dont have the onboard button, then replug the aux wire firmly again.

Now, take out your CMOS battery, and plug it back in, press the CMOS button.

You may now check and start your PC, But Unplug all devices in the USB Port at first.

I'm pretty sure it is the motherboard. I had the same motherboard and it died on me the same way.

Bro its most likely a mobo issue..
some mosfet going bad
its does happen....due to moisture....
and apart from that....any power fluctuation...
If u have warranty....that would be gr8...RMA it...
otherewise....try a good repair shop...
it might get fixed....aswell..
