code geass made my blood rush (sm1).If anyone wants to watch an anime just see the first few episodes rather then just seeing the review,if you liked the anime then just keep watching if not then drop it and post your (fire fueling (evil) ) remarks here so i can enjoy the figh....cough*....so i can see which anime you liked better.

Yeah agreed, I tell the same thing to friends and cousins that instead of reading the review, watch the first few episodes and see if its to your liking, if so then continue it, if not then drop it.

Death Note started out brilliantly, but it was a downhill slope after 'he' dies, leading to a quite unclimactic end; whereas Code Geass maintained it's quality throughout the two seasons and ended with a blast.

Code Geass for me definitely.

BOth anime/mangas were exceptional........... Death notes first season is damn good and a total mind twister. And ending is not so bad...... whereas Code geass started with a blast.... and ended with blast ,but a blast full of tears.:crying:

code geass is no doubt awesome but death note is a tad above for me. i agree after that person dies it's downhill but before that was simply awesome. it the twist came with such a bang that it surprised the hell out of you where code geass maintained it self and ended with a bang

I know Death Note has some really epic moments but the momentum Code Geass kept was full of win, also I really liked how all the characters were properly developed and with a given screen time whereas for Death Note, it wasn't the case.

That's the beauty, Code Geass was never about rivalry until mid Season 2. It was all about Lelouch

i like code geass much more than death note but death note has one edge over code geass thats it's impact, as soon as it starts bam the person gets hooked.. where as code geass takes a bit of time .. i have shown these two anime to many people, after showing a small preview of death note people just go crazy for it where as i show them quite a bit of code geass, people are like ok they will do me a favor and watch it when they are free, and few days later they are like dafaq zero is totally awesome bla bla blaa you get the point right ...

Code geass takes time to build up a proper story with proper characters whereas death note starts with a bang but loses its awesome charm after L's death. Death note is like a mclaren, it picks faster than a buggati but ultimately looses, code geass is the buggati which starts a little slow but ends with a bang. Death note never struck me as deep as Code geass.

Code Geass had way more hotter chicks whereas Death Note just had Misa. C.C and Kallen were simply ^_^. :sigh:

Lelouch was way better than Light. Light was just a psycho. Lelouch was the greatest anime protagonist ever.

Code Geass started a bit slow for me but Death Note instantly got me hooked.

Death Note lost much of its epicness when L died. And the ending wasn't so great. It was good, but certainly nothing compared to Code Geass. Code Geass maintained its epicness throughout both seasons even though I didn't like the way Lelouch defeated Charles Zi Brittania. Code Geass' ending was so f****ng awesome and tragic. I loved it.

L was a much better antagonist than Charles. But they killed him off really early and introduced us to Near whom I didn't like very much.

Both had great soundtracks but Code Geass' was a bit better than Death Note.

Code Geass had a better dubbing. All characters sound perfect. But in Death Note, Light sounds so weird and stupid. Dunno about the Japanese version.

Both the Death Note and Geass power concepts are great. I would love to get my hands on either one of them.:wink2:
