Oh at last......i was able to make some headway.............this time no "invalid password" and "banned" msgs!..........however, I was still not able to play because just before the start of the game....................ERROR: fastfile for zone"mp_vacant_load" is corrupt or unreadable.

Clearly a corrupt install. Thats the only solution i know and u can always search for errors on Google.com

Finally success!..................check this out for COD 4(its hard core though!...........no huds).

It may some times tell u that "server only for low ping".....but it worked for me and I'm using wateen(higher ping)
