Cant write stuff anymore... :(

Well its been 3 years now since i wrote a big piece of article, 3 years back i used to write whatever I had in mind on that very instant and I used to write a lot of words... I mean 600-800 were a piece a cake for me.... but as of now I don't write at all I mean writing a 500 words of an article looks so tiring, i have lost creativity as well, now i want to start up again but how should I start up again?? what to write???.....

I think that I might just be able to help you out.
Let me know what sort of articles you write and something in relation to your interests as well.
Are you into literature and creative/descriptive writing and stuff (basically stuff apart from technology)?

As for now i don't write anything at all partly because i dont have much time to write, so its kinda like my writing skills have deteriorated.... My interests are Cricket, a bit of current affairs, education, a bit of technology..... Not into literature!

It could be the writer's block. There are a number of therapy's out there to help you write again. The one that helped me was reading. Read a lot and you will find the motivation to write again hopefully. Peace

well as for now I need a start,it'll take time to regain much of my potential and I have a busy university schedule as well, I'll let u know when I am ready!

Same here man. I used to be awesome at writing. Now I can't write more than a paragraph on anything

Key is Brainstorming your ideas (extract 4 or 5 points), and then expand those points into complete 100 word paragraphs.

dejavu is absolutely spot on with that.
Read, read and read. And then practise on your writing.
Do practise alot and oh sure, let me know when you consider yourself fit for writing so I can forward you the details of the job posting whenever you like.

hmm, I am good at brainstorming but when it comes to writing long stuff I get tired.

i was thinking of Newsweek or maybe TIMES or something along those lines, yup i have read the reader's digest but its like 4 years now!

Well, there are loads of online newspapers and Mags. Why not give tribune a try.
Since you follow current affairs, tribune would do wonders.

Keep it regular , write a few hundered of words on daily basis
