[SOLVED] Calling all Infinix Hot 2 Users

So Daraz has some nice black friday deals going on.

They have the Infinix Hot 2 available for 10k, which (looking at the phone's specs) is a good deal.

I was wondering, should I go for it?
Need it for my dad. He uses his phone mainly for calls and texts (he had a feature phone abhi tak).
And what about Daraz? Are they reliable?

They say that "Brand Warranty" is available with the phone. What does that mean?
I mean if supposedly the phone develops a fault later on, where do I go to claim the warranty?

The device is good ..i bought it when it came out about a month ago!! Quality is better then qmobile for sure. Plus quick software updates (back and front camera = ok) but still camera are better then other devices at that price range.. And so far daraz has been reliable bought few stuff ..no problem

I bought the device on Black Friday sale for Rs.7500 (1GB) variant.
For that price, I think it's heck of a phone. Looks very good as well.
But as soon as you turn the LCD ON, you are greeted with with a piece of shit looking display. It's colors and contrast are very good but it feels like it's running at a higher resolution than it was made for, hence that eclipse feeling in the screen.

Still. For the price, its a very good deal.

However if you are getting it NOW, means for 10K, you are much better getting the Qmobile A1. It not only is better looking but has Marshmallow (Android One).

What about its performance? I was going for the version with 2GB of RAM.
I was put off by A1 cause it has a 4.5 inch display and a qHD resolution.

Performance is extremely impressive. It's SOLID. Believe. The NAND storage is fast enough, due to which apps installation hardly takes 2 or 3 seconds. Processing power is very good for day to day use and NEVER lags for a Nano second. Also, crazy gaming performance, except for the battery hogging part.

But if you are going to spend nearly 12k on a 2GB RAM version, you are much better off spending 14k on Hot Note Pro, which has godly battery timings.

I have purchased like 8 Infinix phones, for family members, friends etc and all of them have LOVED these devices.

Yup. I had one & it was giving me constant OTA updates after few days
