You'll probably have to pay customs. And funny thing is, it's a gamble. You'll either end up paying alot or near to nothing. If there's not much price difference, I'd recommend you to buy one locally

Ali express is a great site for shopping online and it is indeed very cheap compared to locally available goods! I've ordered plenty of items from AliExpress and I'm really satisfied and i haven't paid customs on any order! You can always ask the seller to send the item as a gift, that way you can eliminate the slightest chance of customs

That gift gimmick doesn't work anymore. Rule of thumb is, never order expensive electronics from AliExpress unless you're ready to pay duty on it

I'm sharing my personal experience! I've ordered more than 20 items ranging from electronics accessories to pc liquid cooling stuff and not once I was asked to pay duty on them! The most expensive item was worth 75 US dollars and even that didn't accounted for custom duty!

To be clear though I've never ordered a cell phone from there so don't know about them.

I ordered an attendance machine once and a battery pack (capable of jump starting a car), I instructed the shipper to label them as gifts but customs saw right through it, note: I ordered these on separate occasions. They would've cost me less had I bought them locally. Original prices were somewhere between $150-$200/each

Usually, items below $100 get through without issue, above that is where things get tricky and above $200 is where you should be pretty certain that you'd be paying duty.

Cell phones are a big no, for one they'll always get flagged by customs. Second, it's too risky, if you use non-Fedex/DHL shipping then you are relying on Pakistan Post once the package enters Pakistan. If you choose DHL or Fedex, they'll pay the duty, however much customs asks for, and then bill you outright.
