@mobi: the best touchscreen is iphone handsdown.. and for 30k ull get a 3g in the market easily.. new iphone has no warranty too, so get a good used one around 25k..

keep in mind that buying a touch screen mobile is very risky....if its screen damages with the keys in ur pocket or it fells down or even it got water splashes on it...its gone then.

^^ i have had water splashes on my iPhone once. And nothing happened. Also, the iphone's touch screen is scratch-resistant. So, no scratches no matter what.

Bro, you deserve nothing less than an iPhone. It has the best touch screen amongst all the phones. And the best thing is, it is multi-finger touch which means that, you can use 2,3,4 or even 5 fingers to perform different functions on the screen. And if you are still not convinced for an iPhone, then make sure to check it's AppStore. And another misconception among people is that iPhone can not have any custom themes, you can not install anything other than those nifty apps on AppStore but let me tell you, everything can be done on an iPhone just like any other phone once you jailbreak it. And I know that you would jailbreak your iPhone, because we can't spend our money to buy 0.99$ to 15$ apps, can we? We want them free for life.

Nokia 5800. With firmware v31, it is an excellent performer. Use some low end phone before getting a high profile which cost high as well.

iPhone's screen might be 'sesky' but you can't use it with anything other than direct skin contact. You can't use a stylus on it either.

The iPhone can NOT do multi-tasking. You can't run two applications at the same time. That's sad.

The screen resolution is very good on the iphone, however, it fades in comparison to the high-resolution (and smaller-sized) screen on the 5530.

Anyways, I bought a Nokia 5530 a few days back. Symbian Smartphone. Great phone. Very nice stereo speakers. Acceptable 3.2MP camera (great outdoors). Fast operation. Very nice touch interface. Love it.

There are several useful applications out for the device like Live Messenger, Youtube, Facebook, Fring etc.

Get it. You won't regret it.

Have you been living in a cave or what? iPhone does multi-tasking better than anything! Moreover, iPhone's latest firmware allows push notification for any app which means that you would receive notification when someone sends you an instant message on hotmail messenger, you would receive notification when someone tweets, you would receive notification when someone replies to your post, and what not. All of this happens no matter how many push apps you have installed. And you can run multiple apps too, which has nothing to do with its push notification feature, which means that during a game, you hear a sound of a new mail, what you would do, is pause the game, hold the home button for 2 seconds, and you would be back home with game still running, you can then check your mail and continue from the same place. (an app called 'backgrounder' needs to be installed via cydia from a jailbroken iphone, to enable this functionality; while push notifications is available with iphone firmware).
