Best way to keep/exterminate mosquitoes from your room?

I generally keep my windows and doors closed, dry off or wipe away any splashes of water in the adjoining bathroom. But every night I always end up encountering a lot of mosquitoes. I'm compelled to use a strong repellent, but I can't continue slapping that corrosive chemical on my skin every day. I used to use a flit pump. But I'm convinced that this is an obsolete, and unhealthy solution, and I've noticed it just doesn't work the way it used to. So what would you suggest doing to eradicate mosquitoes that linger around and chill in my room like it's their goddamned right? I'd prefer an opinion or idea based on something that worked for someone.

Several options are availabe, first three worked for me, rest i didnt tried:
1. Shoot at sight (For Mosquito: Killed in action)(try using electric racket)
2. Desi finis spray and pump (strongest, immediately effective)
3. Mortein coil (beware can bring tears to eyes, not kidding)
4. Electric insect killer (all you see will be a spark and some dust)
5. Try cleaning your room
6. Challenge mosquito to a one on one fight and then call your friends (The rest wont dare challenging you)
7. Gather some woods, set them to fire and them sleep on it. (Mosquitos dont like fire)
8. Get some frogs as your pets. (They will eat all mosquitos for you)
9. try sleeping on minar-e-pakistan (They wont dare fly that high)
10. Knock your self out with a baseball bat or anything heavy (you wont feel a thing till morning)
11. Form a truce with the mosquito queen.
12. Marry with mosquito queen or have your children marry her. (They dont hurt family)
13. Try going to highest place in city and jump from there. (a dead man dont feel a thing and ps you get free publicity)

Look for stagnant water around ur house
And spray kerosene oil on it.
Its the main reason for breeding of the mosquitos.
Use mortein mosquito killer machine
It is odorless and very effective solution
I am using it and mosquito doesnt bother me at all.

Haha. I do enjoy the humour in your response, but as Dslayer pointed out, I do value my life more than the mosquito problem. xD And I must say I'm quite adept in the 'sport' of mosquito killing. The flit spray, or the Desi finis spray as you put it, is almost a century old solution. And I feel it doesn't help in my case at least, unfortunately. Also, the coils just fuck up my throat.

Oil donot help in repelling them and the mortein spray finishes up too quickly. Why dont you hire someone to kill mosquito for you?
