Last week i dropped My Xiaomi Mi Max in water , and it's now gone for good and i think that its memory has gone Kaput, anyways the point is , that i don't want to keep it even its fixed, want to move on to next phone preferably a mid-ranger . My range is maximum 22k. cant afford much after a loss.
3 major things which i require are :

1: exceptional battery life (8 Hrs+ SOT) i was getting around 9-10 on Mi MAX
2: Decent camera (i know its a phone , cant expect DSLr like results but still)
3: Lag free experience without hiccups and problems . stable system-Good dev support wont hurt

now , after my extensive research i have Picked two phones

1: xiaomi redmi note 4
2: Lenovo p2 (used with 6,8 month warranty are available in the market i know new one is around 26k)

i was also looking to buy Used flagships such as s6, or a M9 etc etc but i think buying a 2 year old phone that too with 2600 Mah , will be foolish act .

so now i need your suggestions regarding these phones , what do u suggest ?? especially i need reviews about p2

and if there's another option that you want me to look into , feel free to suggest .
Thanks for the HELP !

You hardly get updates on lenovo. My previous phone was lenovo p1m vibe , currently I have a redmi note 4 bought it around 4 months ago. Its a great phone in this price range you wont find any better !

personally used p2 and note 4 so here are the differences i noted
1. battery in p2 is far more better than note4
2. performance is same didn't noticed any lag or stutter in both phones
3. camera: note4 has lots of noise while p2 doesn't have any and it's good in night as well
4. the display on p2 is better than note 4

EDit: sry there was a slight mistake i accidentally wrote note 4 instead of p2 at point 4

And Obviously P2's display is better

I think AMOLED is better than IPS on Note 4.

so youre suggesting me p2 right ?? i see two pros of p2 over note 4 ..
secondly how come an ips panel is superior against a Super AMOLED ???

Used both phones thoroughly before opting for the Redmi note 4, got about 11-12 hours SOT on P2 and regularly getting 9-10 hours SOT on Redmi note 4, no big difference in terms of battery, the camera on P2 seemed less capable than the one on Redmi note 4 miui 9, the 7.0 update seems the last one for P2 and it barely has any good dev support, why buy a phone that won't be updated at all? Redmi note 4, on the other hand, has above 50 custom ROMs over at XDA and regular updates from xiaomi. The design is subjective, I liked the design on redmi note 4 more and also I was getting 64gigs storage instead of 32gigs of P2 for less price. The display also comes down to personal preference, I have always preferred IPS displays on devices above 5.2in because I have noticed pentile effect on a good bit of AMOLED displays. The difference from what I have experienced only lies in the grey/black colors.

well its up to you, if you can live without solid Dev support and a brand new phone out of the box then go for P2. I would have gone for Redmi Note 4 instead of P2 If i were you largely cuz it wont be used, warranty or no warranty I have always had bad experience with used phones.

Have you used the phone extensively or just looked up the reviews? I kept the device for a while, the display does seem to have some issue, have noticed uneven brightness on the display, contrast issues, colors fading while viewing at an angle. Either the display has not been tuned properly or the screen has some issues on P2. Just the SuperAmoled on the spec sheet doesn't make any display better. Other SuperAmoled phones that I had in the past also had some issues, but none were as bad as these.

Bro I have been using it since January bought it from india around 32K Pkrs, about the display i haven't noted anything like it maybe, maybe you have a defective piece or something idk. I recently sold it to my cousin he is really impressed with the performance and all.

Three local units i tried here, all were having some display issues, two of those are still under use by friends and family.

Nothing beats redmi 4a in this budget. Infact you should compare Redmi 4a with other brand 20k budget phones.
