Can anybody help me to make purchases from Google Play Store using Standard Charted Bank Debit ATM Card. I use it on many other places like AliExpress etc, it works everywhere except for Google Play Store.

If anyone is using it for purchases on Google Play Store, PLEASE help me.... :frown:

I mean I can buy stuff from play store , but thing is how I send you the app or help you in buying?
bcz gifting services on play store is only available for US region

Does pakistani cards work on Playstore/Appstore of any other regions e.g:US/Uk, though i have used my mcb card on appstore of pakistan ?

yeah but better if u get mcb lite bcz it doesn't work on popular sites like origin , netflix, xbox playstation etc

MCB debit card usual debit card, they have extremely cheap transaction process with on-going dollar rate and no other hidden charges, though if you are not account holder in Mcb bank, you can apply for MCB lite card, which is quite hard to get because of their poor customer service, my card was generated in 2014 and haven't got yet it was lost in the process, so i decided to open a simple saving account for debit card.


Edit: MCB cards work everywhere be sure to get one of those.

In my exp of using SCB debit card on google play, it says there is an issue in account address, when I put the right address just as it is on my account details, but google play does not accept that...... so wat about this ADDRESS issue on MCB cards?

do u put the exact address or how do u do it???

You can put anything it doesn't really matter, the actual reason your card being rejected (SCB) is because its not compatible with play-store payment processor, i think thats why its just giving out random reason, i didn't even put proper address for MCB card, it just worked so no worries for the address go ahead.

I think its free, you just have to add some funds in it 500 rs, must say to you one thing don't apply through MCB call centre as i did and it got lost, just give a visit to your nearest MCB branch and inquire how to apply before applying through call center.

Which card you people use to buy things on it?

I tried SCB and Allied, both don't work. Contact SCB and they told me because "the merchant doesn't use CVV2 details, we can't process it"

if u r talking about Google Playstore, then MCB debit card and MCB Lite Card is recommended by and used by most of the PGers and there is a sticky thread about this thing as well.

I also heard the news of partnership between Nadra and Master Card under which CNIC holders can make payments online and receive payments outside Pakistan.Anyone know when it will be made available?
