So I haveam AT&T version of the note 5, it is running on android 5.1.1, I know that android 6.0.1 had come out on samsung phones, I need to ask two questions, first I'd whether I can completely remove the AT&T software from the mobile, and the second is that if the first is not possible, has an update come from AT&T of this Android version, so that I Can update my phone

You can't remove the AT&T branding because the N920A has a locked bootloader.

You will have to get the 6.0.1 OTA files and sideload them one by one to have the latest update installed. Check XDA for the full OTAs, they should be available.

Instead you can also download the odin files for your phone and flash them. I had the same issue with my s6 as you cannot update it until you are on At&t network. I downloaded the odin files from xda and flashed it directly to 6.0.1.

So I never updated because I could not download it properly or something. Is there any other link? Would be a great help as I have asked all around Islamabad and no one seems to have the update? Can you tell me a shop where I can get it installed in Islamabad or Rawalpindi?

Why couldn't it be downloaded? MEGA usually works fine.

I would not recommend going to some shop to get it done, AT&T phones have locked bootloaders and letting these shopkeepers tinker with things they don't know about isn't a good idea.

You reap what you sow. This is what happens when you take away choice from consumers. Even with 88% split going to developers, they can't recoup costs. Meanwhile, Helldivers 2 is a massive hit for Sony thanks in big part to Steam.
