So I've finally decided to buy a waffle maker (I love waffles)... I realise this is SUPER unlikely but anyone have a waffle maker they can recommend :D..

I'm conflicted between getting one from here or asking someone to bring it from abroad (the one from abroad will need a 220 to 110v converter thats why)...

On a side note, how much will a 700/750W 220 to 110 converter cost?

There are some waffle makes available locally here starting from the cheaper brands like Cambridge and Anex.

Anex (which comes in warranty) has a dual sandwich and waffle grill for around 2599.

I like waffles too. :)

Wafffffflleess are awesome. We had a Black Decker 3-1 grill, which could also make waffles. But it wasn't that cheap, it still works to this day.

We used to have a waffle maker in our house, I don't recall what company the product was from but to be completely honest it shouldn't really matter. Who makes the batter and how they make it is what really matters as far as taste is concerned. My mother never made the batter from scratch, she always bought these ready made pancake/waffle mixes.
Spoiler: show

The batter used to make either is pretty much the same only difference being a little added oil in the case of waffles which makes them a more crispy from the outside. So if you wanna test a batter you made but dont have the waffle maker just make a pancake (because you can make pancakes on like a nonstick fry pan, no need for oil) and see how it tastes.

Converters should be really cheap these days, I used to have a giant converter in 2005 that made alot of noise and was really heavy but now you can get converters alot cheaper and lighter.

Ya so I went to Al-Fatah today. Unfortuatnely they didn't have it but they said they should get one in a week or two.
Though I did find one online here http://zainabelectronics.com.pk/shop/anex-sandwich-maker-waffle-grill-ag-1039c/

but not sure how good it is at making waffles since its 3in 1 (the "jack of all trades" thing).

also found it here much cheeper (but im skeptical cause no site has it this cheap)
