I COMPLETELY disagree Abbas. I think the exact opposite. Here in Pakistan, it's all about lust and perverse things. There are very few people who think the way you do. I'd say you're too optimistic infact. Maybe you haven't seen how normal/average people think, but that is how thier mind works. Ever wondered why so many people view pornoraphic material?

I've talked to alot of Europeons, some of which are my best friends, and according to them, they seem to be against the feeling of lust or whatever. And they aren't any pervs or anything. They're very well mannered and taught the exact same things that we're taught. I say never judge a book by its cover.

And I do blame it on our society. Ever since we're little, we're forbidden by alot of things. Around the teen-age, we start wondering about those same things, and hey, curosity kills the cat. In Europe, since children are not forbidden to do things, they are never as curious as children here, and hence when they grow up properly. It's how things work, and should work.

So, we don't win. We live in a candy coated world that negates reality. I really want to know where the "Islamic" image of Pakistan comes from though, because honestly, there aren't alot of people who're proper Muslims anymore.

trust me, we are way better than those ... of course i cant talk for everyone but they few guys i know ..... may be we are not the Ideal Muslims but we are way better than those ...

those guys' good manners have got nothing to do with their lust or sexual desire ...its in the human nature .... what i am saying here is that we Pakistani's dont always mean sex when we mean love ... whereas in Europe etc ... Love indirectly means Sex ...thats how love stories end there ...

our relations are WAaaaay more complicated than theirs ... smaller flirts aside ...when some asians or to be more preices, pakistanis fall in love ... they gets NUTS ... crazy .... and thats with loads of emotions ... sincere emotions ..UNLIKE just wanting sex like those westerns ... i am not saying that every western is the same but if u talk culture-wise ..we are more safe ...

but personally ..the extra cultural limits we've got ...i hate those ... i mean whats the point in not being able to talk to somone u want the most in the whole freaking universe ...just caz the society thinks its bad ... there are way more bad things going on around us ... freaking mujras on cables ... drugs everywhere .... and lots of other bad things ..but the primary rules keep such relations so tough to maintain and still everything is going fine over here ...

err. what are you even trying to say here. The adults try to ban stuff like this in western countries but children make a way around. According to you they are happy allowing children to do stuff like this. Games like gears of war, dead rising are BANNED in most of europe.
