Ek rupai tax mai chala gaya
On a serious note, lets look at it from a different perspective:
The customers paid 25+25+25 = 75 rupees. The manager returned 5 to the waiter of which he kept 2 for himself and gave 3 rupees back.
To split it up it would look like this 75 = 70 + 2 (amount the waiter took) + 3 (returned to the customers)
What amount did the customers pay? The answer is 70 + 2 (amount the waiter took) = 72 and 72/3 = 24 rupees per head
72 was the amount they paid and 3 rupeed were given back to them so: 72 + 3 = 75.
Lets look at it from yet another perspective:
75 rupees were paid to the waiter, each person paid 25. So 25+25+25=75
The manager returned 5 rupees to the waiter so technically it becomes 70+5. 70 of which would be paid by the customers so 70/3 = 23.33
But the waiter takes 2 rupees for himself, so 2/3 = 0.66 per head (don't get it?)
so 23.33 + 0.66 = 23.99 or 24 is the amount paid per head 24x3 = 72 is the total amount paid and 3 rupees were returned to them so 72 + 3 = 75 or (24+1) + (24+1) + (24+1) = 75
Still don't get it? Don't sweat it then :tv:
