Recently i've been offered an android phone of my choice from a relative abroad but the problems is im not too well versed in some of the features and problems that might occur. I've spent some time online and narrowed it down to these ones:

HTC Droid incredible (my main choice now)
Motorola Droid X (store person told me has some CDMA issue?)
HTC Desire (really nice but too pricy imho)
Samsung Galaxy S (not really sure about this one)
HTC Aria (which is a last resort)

I cant really understand the main feature differences (other then size and screen quality) but i believe all of these will get the new 2.2 foryo update. So im not sure what to do nor am i sure what the CDMA and GSM issue is. I was hoping someone well-versed in this stuff could help me out please :D
p.s. no iphone please i truly despise apple and their horrid CS

Good choice going for an android phone. Ok first you need to know that the droid incredible and the droid x are on the verizon network which is cdma only so they wont work in pakistan. You're left with the Desire, Galaxy and Aria. Aria is a no-go very under-featured mid range phone. The Desire and Galaxy S are two of the best android phones available right now, Desire has a better UI and the Galaxy well a little better feature set. The Galaxy is alot more expensive than the Desire, a like new Desire is around forty thousand in the market right now. If it was me i'd go for a Desire.

hmmm well thanks for the info guys appreciate it :D

well its sucks i really really liked the incredible and droid x now im not sure what to get the desire is in the $500 price range so im not a big fan of getting that. The issue is i wanted a phone that will get the 2.2 foryo and sadly even though the G1 i could get is free its not getting it. Are there any other phones similar to the incredible?

edit: so there is no possible way to make the incredible work in Pakistan?

Alan wake 2 is yet to recover it's development costs. Due to no physical release and no steam launch.
You reap what you sow. This is what happens when you take away choice from consumers. Even with 88% split going to developers, they can't recoup costs. Meanwhile, Helldivers 2 is a massive hit for Sony thanks in big part to Steam.
