The biggest Netflix competitor just made its way to Pakistan along with several other countries.
Subscrption plan starts from $2.99/month for first six months, $5.99/month afterwards.

Subsciption plans may be pretty sweet compared to Netflix but content is pretty less too. All Amazon Orignals are available along with plethora of bollywood movies and a couple hundred of Hollywood movies.

Yep, Prime Video is a part of Amazon Prime subscription but what they've launched here is just a standalone streaming only service.

In TV Shows, Right now only got Amazon Originals (Man in the High Castle, Grand Tour and others), Seinfield and... C.I.D!
Huge chunk of Bollywood movies and just over a couple hundred Hollywood movies.

In my opinion, right now its only good if a person wants to watch The Grand Tour legit.

Only mode of payment is Credit/Debit Card.
I used MCB Lite to signup for the trial.

Unless someone has HDR10/Dolby Vision TV and is getting 50~100mbps like those in Karachi n paying same amount what we are paying PTvl for a 8 to 10mbps connection then streaming services make sense ... But 4K HDR streaming makes no sense for someone who doesn't own an HDR TV and has a good fast connection ... I think atleast 15-18mbps is a must for good experience

These are so pointless. I subscribed to Netflix for a month and I barely ever used it. Nothing will ever beat torrents. As much as I'd like to pay for these services, it's just not cost effective at all. You can subscribe to Netflix, Amazon and HBO and still half the shows you watch will be scattered across different networks.

in Pakistan streaming services dont make sense, either internet connections r not fast enough for decent viewing pleasure or like u said, our fav shows r all over the place. Except Netflix, no other streaming service has good collection of shows or movies.

i doint know why u are complaining , netflix even works on a 4mb conncetion and works perfect , well i have dual 12mb connections so i dont know if 4k ultra hd works on 4mb or not --i am streaming it pretty smooth -- one thing i have noticed and would like others to confirm this as well .
i have downloaded the netflix app on different branded and un branded tv which are 4k --- but if you use net flix on it --it for some reason will not show 4k ultra hd icon on its net flix titles - but if you use xbox and ps4 and use net flix via them then it shows on auto --

coming back to amazon prime - well i am using amazon prime usa for now --lots of movies and shows to watch though i have watched most of the movies --some i have not , the only catch to this is that you have to use a vpn , i am also using netflix usa via vpn as well but there is a catch on how to make it work.

yeah torrents are a good thing provided content is avaliable --
