Aoa all
in a few days im going to buy dell alienware m11x laptop from usa. But i have a few confusions regarding it and need some guidance from u guys
1) is alienware brand worth buying.???
2) since it isnt available in pakistan so wikk it have a good resale value or not???
3) its price is 600$ right now. How much will another gaming system of some other brand cost me??

I will say better wait some time and get the newer models... They are much better and updated models, of course they will be a bit more expensive then the current one but you will have a longer lasting product. Check them here

old M11x has been replaced by new m11xr3 laptop and costs 999$ now. imo its not worth it better look for something else.

I would say don't go for a laptop in the first place.
Alienware products are too overpriced. And selling an 11 inch Notebook, I think won't be easy. Enthusiast hi ho to lay lai.

it is better to leave the idea of alienware because there are some problems in old alienware laptops
if you want a gaming laptop there are many more available in local shops like galaxy and czone

Well, Gaming Laptops are hard to find in Pakistan, recently we have gotten a great deal on an HP Laptop with 2nd Generation Core i5 and a Class 1 Graphics Card. So better go for it if you can get it, it will be better + you will get local warranty. It costs something like 82k, it will handle all new and old games on 720P on high to medium settings.

the alienware m11x is an excellent machine for what it is...its ultraportable, small, and is still capable of playing games at decent settings.....its on my list of laptops that im considering to buy when i go to the states...
as someone did mention, the r3 version is out, and it is more expensive now, base price 999 dollars....and for that price you could probably buy a laptop with a bigger screen and probably somewhat better performance...but if portability is an issue than the m11x is still worth the money....if 1000 dollars is out of your budget, then check out the dell outlet website, im sure theyre probably selling the r2 version at a much cheaper price now....one thing you need to find out about the r2 version before buying it though is the hinge issue, and whether its been fixed in them or not...

1) Alienware not worth buying
2) Alienware is available in Pakistan but only M15x and M17x model with stock specs (you can't change your notebooks specs here like you can do on dell.us and dell.ca)
3) In $600 you can't get a powerful gaming notebook. You need at least $1000

Alienware all new breeds in town. M14x and M18x. M14x stock unit price is $1200 If you can afford. (I will prefer M14x over M11x)

I will recommend ASUS G Series and MSI GTR series gaming notebooks they are cheaper in price as compare to alienware + you get much better components
