I figured most of you read high school comedy here so i thought i should post something uncommon
Abara is "Ribs" in Japanese

Not necessarily high school comedy, but yeah most of the people do.
Wow... cool name of the manga, "ribs"!
The cover, no the girl on the cover... pretty much her pose and the condition she is in kind of reminds me of "Saikano" and then it is also kind of similar to "Kara no Shoujo's" screenshots.
But then again, the cover has a pretty striking semblance of Saya no Uta's grotesqueness.
My interest has been piqued, I shall read it definitely.

lol no response ?
Fine go back to reading your Sissy Teeheehee mangas >_>
Sorry, I would have gladly read it, if it were not for my ongoing exams. I will surely read this on about 2nd or 3rd of June. So, tell me if you have played/read Saya no Uta, is this manga kind of similar to it?!
Is the work of Kisaragi Gunma considered sissy, just asking?

I used the word "sissy" simply because i was annoyed to see nobody showing interest in something different from the usual.

I havnt but i will if its something similar.
Abara's Mangaka is the same guy who did Blame! and Biomega which are awesome too

So true! I kind of knew that because, well, I have had the same experience myself.

Go, go, go play Saya no Uta. If you liked "Abara", then you would definitely like it. Just so you know, Saya no Uta can be a bit shocking and the twists are especially good.
I haven't read Abara but I do believe that Saya no Uta is pretty similar to the manga.

Blame!, Biomega and Abara:
Cyberpunk, post-apocalyptic, dystopian and dark ambience, hell yes! I am really, really interested.

Higurashi, watched it?

Expect not much from Pakistani people, just saying. Unless you want to be let-down bad.

What?! Of course no, it's perfectly alright!
I mean, Serial Experiments Lain gave me the biggest brain-cancer, Higurashi pretty much did the same too.
But Higurashi is the single anime that creeped me out the most, it is definitely one of the best anime ever. I mean, one should download the whole ost collection from BakaBt, turn of all the lights, close the doors and should listen to the soundtracks. I guarantee that the soundtracks will the scare the hell out of one.

Higurashi is the foremost and only anime that sent chills down my spine, and that too a lot, and yes a lot of them. I was shit scared during daylight hours.

Hinamizawa Syndrome - the best thing ever!
Oyashiro sama's curse ~ you will be spirited away.

Cotton-drifting festival, where it all started.

I swear, if I get the chance, I would erase my memories and live as Keiichi or even as someone else in Hinamizawa and witness all the sh**** 83s. (implying that I do go to heaven and get a wish like this granted)

You'll get what I mean by the sh**** 83s once you watch the anime.

Watch it, go!

Heh yeah
And people thought Loli art style couldnt possibly be scary :hah:
Agreed. But the bad thing is that people have the wholly wrong image of Higurashi.
Most of the people skip on Higurashi because of some videos on youtube they saw depicting gore, harassment, extreme violence and disturbing acts. All done by children. So they have this image in mind that the anime in itself and the creators are paranoid/sociopath incarnate, producing something of this type.
They think that the anime is all about violence and bullying, lolis and young lads going here and there, they are batshit insane and are carrying out child abuse etc.

But... Higurashi is nothing like that, at first I had the same idea of Higurashi too. But after watching the anime, I was in awe, total awe.
Higurashi had a pretty deep story in itself, I never thought, no I couldn't even fathom what the heck was happening in the first season no matter how many times I watched it.

  • You will be spirited away.
  • Watanagashi Matsuri
  • Deaths
  • Friendship
  • Betrayal
  • Murder
  • Do you believe in Oyashiro-sama's curse?
  • I hear Oyashiro-sama's footstep whenever I am alone, walking. Our steps are in tandem, in conjunction. One after the other, I hear to steps. I am scared!
  • Lolis!!!
  • Hauu~ omochikaeri

Such weird shit, I had hardly encountered ever before in my life. I couldn't understand how this all was related to each other, at one point I felt it was a pointless with a non-existent story. And boy, I was in for an ultimateshock!!!
