We have alot of experienced people here, who have traveled " Up North" multiple times.

It would be quiet useful to have them here make a guide out of their own experiences and contacts.

I wanted to plan a 10-12 day adventure, where I can visit the big mountains, lake saif ul mulook, gilgit, skardu, etc etc...

How would you plan this trip, and what are your recommendations ?

I've been to Azad Jammu Kashmir a couple of times, went a couple of months back as well visited the infamous Neelum valley. Spent 4 nights and 5 days the trip costed me around 13000 PKR which includes Petrol for a Hilux Vigo, Accommodation, food, everything and not to forget we had a driver with us as well whose cost we beared as well.

Accomodation is pretty cheap around there but as you go up to the upper Neelum valley food becomes more expensive. I'll post a complete guide with pictures tomorrow.

Interesting, moved to Islamabad couple years ago and been tingling to visit the North. I was told about this by my neighbor couple days ago, something that I can manage out of blue when I feel like it without compromising on my time with work and such.

^ He preferred Pine Park Hotels but I found the other one in related searches on Google. I live in Bahria Town which is merely 45-60 mins drive from the part where I am at the moment to Islamabad and according to him the drive to that place will be approximately around 4-5 hours and I can drive myself there, have someone drive me there or just hire a cab or something. I'd much rather prefer going by my own vehicle as I can make pit stops to the places I like because according to him there are many places where I'd like to stop and enjoy such as lakes and stuff.

Now, I have no personal experience on it yet but it's something that I have been thinking about for quite some time and I'm sure this thread will definitely prove useful to me. You can find the above links for their rates and pictures as well btw and get some more information. I have this guy in private Bahria Town Group on Facebook who is keep on posting his trip pictures and he arranges trips on group basis on very moderate rates, if you're interested you can check out his page where he posts his stuff so that might be useful to you: https://www.facebook.com/ToursSightseeing

Once again, none of that is from my personal experience but this is the topic that's been getting to me lately very much as we all love to go out of the country to see the beauty but I feel like we really .. like REALLY should at least visit the beauty that our own country has to offer. I'm not a Pro-Pakistani and all either but after actually discovering these places and knowing that they are actually safe and not what people think about made me want it more and more.

Alan wake 2 is yet to recover it's development costs. Due to no physical release and no steam launch.
You reap what you sow. This is what happens when you take away choice from consumers. Even with 88% split going to developers, they can't recoup costs. Meanwhile, Helldivers 2 is a massive hit for Sony thanks in big part to Steam.
