Hello Forum,
This is my first post here, please spare me If I unintentionally break forum rules.
I have a budget to buy a gaming desktop for about 2300 USD. I want your advice so my money is well spent.
I don't plan to use the hardware for gaming specifically but more
so as a "security testing" pertaining to my field which is cyber-security. So, I be running nix* , I see most of benchmarks are done with base o/s as Windows. I will use the cpus'/ram and disk to spin virtual machines , brute force attack etc.
This is what I have come up with please suggest :-
Motherboard
> Gigabyte 2370 UHroGaming Wifi
Processor
> L7-8700K
Memory
>Corsair Vengence 16GB 3200Mhz
Graphics
> Zotac GTX 1070 Amp extreme
HD
> A data / kingston 240 GB SSD
> 1 tb SEAGATE SATA
Power supply
> corsair rmx 750 WATT
Casing
> Cooler Master Master box lites RGB
Keyboard
> Corsair K55 RGB
Mouse
> Corsair harpoon
Cooler
> Corsair H80 iv2
Monitor
> ASUS VZ 249H
I will be taking out 3 months salary for this gaming desktop. I don't want to make technical blunder make me regret my decision.
Thanks.
