Selling in warranty 1 TB HDD seagate 32 MB cache ( PLEASE CHECK THE SERIAL FROM THE IMAGE to verify your queries regarding the cache size ). I will provide the bill and etc. Warranty is from a sub shop of Galaxy. I will provide the bill and the Purchaser is responsible for the warranty claims etc. After sale of this Hard drive, I will only give 2 days personal checking warranty, After that Purchaser Claims directly the item.

I want one thing clear, you said SATA 2 , is it different than normal sata ? i simply dont get the "2'' [couz if its different , its posible my motherbord might not support this one]

I need to update you guys with the hard drive information. I don't tend to ruin the sale, as i know most of you don't know about these faulty drives.

By looking at the picture i can tell you that buying this drive is gonna be risk and you might loose your important data anytime.

Drive indicates that it comes with "SD15" firmware. Its faulty firmware from the Seagate people and till now marson's people unable to resolve it. They will happily give you the brand new drive in the replacement of this drive but they won't recover your drive.

If you don't believe me you can search on google with "SD15" bsy bug. Actually its not this drive, its a whole lineup which are effected by these firmwares.

How i know all these stuff? Because recently i encountered the same error with my 500GB seagate drive. Though i recovered the drive myself and its a way long procedure to do it. But i went to marson and other places to bring my drive back to life but none of the shop (including marson's people) helped me.

I hope the seller won't mind the extra information.


I can provide you with Videos/guides/ and many other people who encountered the same error if you have any doubts regarding my blame.

Yeah...warranty is there and you can get a refundable brand new drive as i mentioned. But its all about data which you are risking. Its a General information nor i'm saying you don't buy. Seagate is well known of this particular bad firmware.

And i'm saying again and again, if you have doubts on any of my information i can directly point you to the main seagate forums.

Please first google what i'm talking about than reply to my post. Yeah i know you can update but there are few things you have to keep in mind. Few drives you can't update and to update those you need Nokia CA-42 cable to attach with jumpers of drive and use the terminal program to flash it.

I don't want to crap the thread but i'm least providing the general information. And to get more info about it you just need to google.

This is my last reply to this thread. Now its up to him/her who buy.

i was the leading contender for this hard drive
i had to buy this hdd today but Jshak msged me that hard disk not working he have to claim the warranty
then i back off with the deal as i dont want to buy warranty claimed HDD
now i bought 750 SEAGATE and em happy with that....

hey dude please ...google it before you comment. when did i said you can't update firmware with sata ? i said there are particular drives which needs to be updated with jumper thingie..

you should come out of the cage now and start googling before post anything irrelevant.

@jshak: drive is not completely dead if its not working. it can be recovered and your data is still intact. If your data is important than don't do anything stupid. PM me if you need any help. you can recover the drive without any data loss.

    It may win the "best visuals" category, but that's about it. A GOTY contender needs to nail all aspects (Story, Gameplay, Visuals, etc)

    I have a PS5 but I am not satisfied with the experience. I am currently saving for a 4080 64 GB rig soon. Bit will wait for Pro if performance improves. This gen has been so bad I don't plan on buying consoles anymore for AAA gaming.
