Then it's most definitely a game-related issue....cuz if the lens had trouble reading the track, it could've occurred at any given instance during a cut scene

Once happened when Kratos talks to Athena for the first time after moving out of River Styx when he losses all his powers. But It looked like Kratos was interrupting her speech rather than any stuttering issue. Nothing else on my side.
It must be some loading issue, If that happens you should pause the game there and resume it after few seconds, that may help.

Started Dead Island 2, and i find it pretty lame. The story is shit. The characters are either cringe or bland (all 6 of them), The gameplay isn't fun. Even the goddamn zombies don't behave like proper zombies. They're all fast & intelligent unlike how zombies are supposed to be like. Any fan of "zombie" genre cannot possibly like this shitfest of a game. Dying Light 2 was million times better than this shit.
