    I hope you're watching right now lol! An intense 5-game series just went down between Instinct and Ambush!

    Actually i hope you watch all of the stream tonight cuz i won't be able to. I got an exam tomorrow for which i gotta revise my stuff now so i won't be staying up past midnight unfortunately :( I hope today's matches are as epic as last night's were! :D

    I stayed and watched the stream for a little over an hour after you had left but i quickly got tired watching it alone so i went to bed at 3AM. I wish i hadn't, because when i woke up and watched the rebroadcast, an EPIICCCCCC 5-game series had taken place between Instinct and Classic. People on MLG claim its the best series that this game has ever seen, and rightfully so!

    So much intensity and back-and-forth momentum shifts during the entire series. But it was the ending of the 5th game that took my breath away. I've never seen the crowd cheer so loudly. Just go back and watch the rebroadcast and see for yourself! :D :D

    There is no doubt that Halo: Reach incurred a tremendous loss for MLG. The viewers progressively dwindled with each event and so did the teams. MLG lost alot of money on Halo last year. But this is just pathetic. There is NO doubt that Reach will rebound with these new settings, but damn....MLG has really disappointed me.

    The last thing i thought they would do is show the middle finger to the series that actually STARTED mlg in the first place. -.-

    I will miss the REAL Halo mainstage :(

    This is pathetic!

    ....no wait....this is beyond pathetic. Its like throwing a hungry dog a bone just so he shuts the hell up. I can't believe MLG would just stick a pole up the ass of the Halo players like this. Granted that Halo: Reach performed horrible last season (only 60 teams showed up for the national championships compared to the usual 190+ teams). Granted that Halo: Reach had horrible settings and maps for competitive play.

    But now that we DO have better settings. We DO have better maps. We DO have a game that is now fun to watch. We HAVE, as of right now, sold 154 team passes for Columbus!...AND we STILL HAVE teams waiting to buy the pass at the door of the event. We HAVE a separate FFA tournament for Reach. We're looking at potentially 170+ teams JUST for 4v4 right now (not even counting FFA competitors). That is more TEAMS than ALL of the MLG fighting game PLAYERS combined! (street fighter/mortal kombat)

    Yeah Halo 3 days were something....fun as hell....Heck, everything was fun back then.

    And yeah this internet problem will probably be sorted out by then. This ridiculous disconnection problem is a recent one. The net worked perfectly fine the last 3 years that i've had it.

    Oh and i forgot to mention that the latest Halo bulletin that came on Thursday talked a little bit about the Battle Rifle in Halo 4. This is what we now know so far: Its gonna be 3-shot burst, hit-scan, 2x zoom, no bloom, no spread (unlike Halo 3) and will have "suppressible recoil. They didn't talk about how many shots it will take to kill a person but i guess its safe to assume that its gonna be the usual 4 bursts. I am excite!

    I just wasted another hour on this FKING thing without even completing a single match. Played my first game, got disconnected in the first 2 mins. Played the second, got disconnected after the first kill.....Spent another 30 mins matchmaking and got disconnected everytime even before finding any players.

    Basically i just spent an hour without playing a single legitimate match till the end.....I can literally feel my blood boiling at this point. I get ONE weekend to cool off and...ugh....Can't even watch the TLN stream! *sigh*

    Im Done....honestly! This is the height of bullcrap and utterly retarded-ness of ridiculous shitting hell!!!!!

    Back in the Halo 3 days i had these 2 friends from Lahore who were just like me. Strictly hardcore, competitive MLG loving guys whom i played on pretty much daily basis. I don't believe you ever joined us with them because of the time difference. They were only on during the day time here.

    Khair, basically it was because of them that I got as good as I was in Halo 3. Now one of them is married and the other is busy with studies. And like the great philosopher Aristotle said, "We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit."

    Honestly i only play MLG when you're on. Warna i have no intention of playing something that will make me wanna punch the screen :lol:

    I honestly suck at this game now lol. I used to play like hell last year. Back in Halo 3 i used to play like minimum 2 hours every single day and 5-6 hours on weekend - strictly on the MLG playlist. Now i barely play 2 hours on the weekend even and that too on that other ZB playlist because we all know how horrible the matchmaking in MLG playlist is and how everyone quits EVERY single game.

    I still love MLG though. Infact the MLG settings are the only ones that i actually wanna play. Its just the lack of friends coupled with horrible lag and horrible matchmaking system really puts me off. Whenever i play the playlist alone, i always leave extremely frustrated, and i don't even have to explain this to you because you already know how that feels like hahaha

    You reap what you sow. This is what happens when you take away choice from consumers. Even with 88% split going to developers, they can't recoup costs. Meanwhile, Helldivers 2 is a massive hit for Sony thanks in big part to Steam.
