aint find anything like this on the router...
I also had the same problem with my IP cameras. I connected Tplink archer c6 and now that router handles all my connected devices and cameras and they work flawlessly. Stormiber router is very bad in wifi reception, also it doesn't have 5ghz band which is a big minus and very limited in customization.

anyone experiencing packet loss issue? I am facing severe packet loss (5%-20%) to every server especially during peak hours. It has made gaming impossible. Their service has been getting worse day by day I swear.

Is this true that VPN doesn't doesn't work on Stormfiber? I was on ptcl from last 14 years and every vpn works fine but now finally switched to Stormfiber.
They work but hit or miss like a certain location will work for a while and then it suddenly stops working you check the app, VPn is sill connected but no data is transmitted and you have to change the location. not only stormfiber ptcl is also starting to have the same problems but less in frequency but they are there.

That's very unfortunate, actually i only needed to redeem MS rewards but that's not gonna happen anymore, well i will ask my brother who live in Canada to redeem my MS rewards points. Thanks for the confirmation brother.

I haven't had this issue with PTCL, but Transworld has this issue (it's not necessarily a Stormfiber issue - but a Transworld/backbone issue).

One of the major reasons why I came back to PTCL - I had functional internet.

If you can get Stormfiber to change your route from TW to PIE, you won't face the issue. Whether they do it or not depends on them (Nayatel doesn't).

mail them at [email protected] they'll send you username/password with administrator rights
I did email them and they told me to register a complain and their staff will come check it out they are not allowed to give admin username password to anyone.

Fiberhome 6244C router is really really bad with all the disconnect issues and you cant troubleshoot it yourself without admin privileges.

The first thing you should notice while using it is that unlike transworld the uplink with storm fiber is capped to 5mbps. It is not so good as we want to have. My first priority would be transworld just because of that since they give 20/20 connection, storm customer service is amazing and you will appreciate that. But do they have customer bonuses like that https://betwinner.africa/betwinner-bonus/? Thanks

Hi everyone. I got my Stormfiber 30 Mb connection installed yesterday. They have provided Fiberhome hg6544c device.

My initial impressions:

International speeds are very poor. Getting less than 20 download and around 10 for uploads. How’s the speed for you guys? Netflix is streaming at around max 5 Mb.

Second question: Is there any default PPPoE password for all StormFiber users?

Hello, I have 30mps connection too with storm fiber. I get 30/30 download and upload on any platform. which international sites are giving you less dl speeds? It could be because of the server load on certain websites.

Here's what I do to troubleshoot speed issues:
1. Check if your route is TW or PIE (TW can become choked more often than not vs PIE, in my experience - not necessarily TW's fault, but just the route the packets may take can be the result of the choke).
2. Do a speedtest. If you think speedtest.net is throttled, go to nperf.com and pick a server either in Singapore, France, the Netherlands, UK, Germany, UAE or if you're bothered, the east coast of the US (not Canada). It'll give you an idea whether the website/route is choked, or whether your connection is saturated. And you'll have hard evidence as well.
3. If you see that the speedtests to different websites are fine (but not to your website), then you can try asking them to change your route from PIE to TW or TW to PIE.

This is how you can narrow down whether it's a Stormfiber issue, a backbone issue, or something else.

The only way to determine whether you're on PIE or TW is by performing a traceroute.

Try performing in command prompt

tracert resolver1.opendns.com

and share your results here.

TW usually has better pings to Singapore than PIE (at my end, pings to Singapore are botched on PIE, but even if they're not at your end, it's easy to perform a comparison).

Alan wake 2 is yet to recover it's development costs. Due to no physical release and no steam launch.
You reap what you sow. This is what happens when you take away choice from consumers. Even with 88% split going to developers, they can't recoup costs. Meanwhile, Helldivers 2 is a massive hit for Sony thanks in big part to Steam.
