    The contrast ratio you are talking about does not matter in real life. Your eye can't notice that much difference. The main thing is 1000:1 Dynamic which matters. I haven't used an Asus before but some members here bought it and kept complaining that the viewing angles are crap. As for me I have been using Samsung LCD and LED's.

    The first panel I got had a dead pixel so they gave me a new one after a lot of hassle. But they replaced it with just one dead pixel. Normally its 3 to 4. Samsung is the largest producer of LCD's and LED's. On my thread someone told me not to go for S24B350H. The colour reproduction isn't that good. Personally I didn't liked the Asus monitor at all. It's up to you really. I'd recommend Samsung. Oh and the the brightness is very high. You have to reduce it or you'll get a headache.

    Of course. I played BF3 on it at 1080P and it worked fine. I haven't checked HD content like movies as my internet is too slow since a couple of days.

    I already own one of that. I like it. Only thing is that the brightness is very high. You have to adjust that. Otherwise I like it. Just look at the price tag. It is much compared to other companies. So I opted for it. By the way my budget was Rs. 25000 but I went for this. :)

    Sorry for the late reply. I bought Samsung S22B300B yesterday. There is one dead pixel so I'm having it changed today. It is a great option otherwise in this range.

    By the way, I saw this Korean movie yesterday titled "3-iron". You should watch it, it's amazing. You will definitely love it. Don't watch any trailer as every trailer of the movie has spoilers.

    I know the first and third kanji. The last two are alphabets. I can read them all except for the second one.
    I did copy-paste it. 田中 ロミオ! < Tanaka Romeo also known by his pen name Yamada Hajime is my favourite writer. No work has appealed to me more than his. He is a legendary person. He holds a very very special place in my heart and mind.
    Writing kanji isn't a problem as long as one knows the reading.

    Memorizing Kanji using stories is the concept. But I have read that people forget those stories soon enough. That's why I will keep learning and reviewing kanji everyday. Like look at one kanji, read its meaning, go on to the next. Do the same for about 29 more. And then review them again and again.

    No, not yet. I haven't started on the kanji yet. Capcom is doing really strange stuff lately. I cannot say anything about RE raccoon city yet, I will wait for some gameplay trailers. The other trailer was an okay one. But won't killling Leon in Raccoon city change the story of all the other games? I hope that the twists that are born from this are interesting and don't make the story awkward or lame. Yes I have watched Resident Evil Degeneration, really liked it. Great movie, with amazing animation. Can't wait for Damnation, the trailer is amazing. Ninja theory is retarded, that is what I think. They have completely spoiled Dante. They even changed his origin. In the remake Dante is the child of an angel and a demon. But originally Dante is the son of a demon and a human. I definitely won't be playing the new DmC.

    There is an easy way to memorize the kanji. Google this, "Remembering the Kanji". It is a book by James W. Heisig.

    Jun Maeda is famous, so it isn't surprising that you have read it somewhere. P.A. works bohat mehnat karnay wala studio hai. Watching glimpses is bad in my opinion.
    Makoto's movie is "Children Who Chase Lost Voices from Deep Below" or "Hoshi o Ou Kodomo". You will have to wait for a long time before the movie is released out of cinemas.

    I agree with you on DS2 and on the RE series. Capcom is making really weird decisions. I have only played the demo of Lost Planet, and that too way back. I don't remember much about it. Once I get a new pc I will try out all sorts of games.

    Neither did I know that kanji were chinese characters. In fact I did not even know that there were 2000 something characters I needed to learn besides the japanese alphabets.
    Kanji are not a problem. The problem is that we take them to be. At first I was daunted (lost courage) that I had to learn 142 unique alphabets. But after I spent time on them I learned them. It takes time but you can get it.

    Oh okay, I haven't watched Gits yet so I can't say anything. Natsume - the date on anidb is 27.09.2011 If you like Puella Magi then do tell me. I am dying to watch that anime but I am waiting for the anime's blu-ray releases because the studio SHAFT does wonders with graphics and animation.
    Edit: Did you know that aside from learning the 142 alphabets of Japanese, you also have to learn 2,136 kanji which are chinese characters adopted into Japanese? They have different pronunciations and some have more than 1 meaning.

    Japanese is the second most hardest language in my opinion. Just saying.

    Hahaha, your story was epic and really funny. The same thing happens with me too. For e.g. when I am playing serious games or horror games like Dead Space 2. I immerse myself into the game, paying close attention to any sound that I hear and carefully looking into every corner and so on, so forth. But suddenly someone from my family comes and speaks in a really loud voice, I panick so hard at the moment. And I hate that. The thing is that we are so immersed in the game and we are paying attention so the slightest of detail, our senses are really sensitive at that moment. And someone comes and ruins the fun for us.
    Ahan, yes, capcom did a very good job with those games. RE5 is the first RE game that I ended without being scared.

    My downloads are halfway through so I will wait for a day or so to see if the download ends, if not then I'll ddl them.

    Good luck watching Puella Magi. I am sure you will be surprised by the plot, plus it's a short anime so time's not a worry.

    Started Dead Island 2, and i find it pretty lame. The story is shit. The characters are either cringe or bland (all 6 of them), The gameplay isn't fun. Even the goddamn zombies don't behave like proper zombies. They're all fast & intelligent unlike how zombies are supposed to be like. Any fan of "zombie" genre cannot possibly like this shitfest of a game. Dying Light 2 was million times better than this shit.

    tbh gaming industry as a whole is failing much like tech industry. They have buckled down too much to Corporate suites then relying on passionate and innovative people. A corporate only believes in financial growth and shareholders.
